Fun Fact: There are different characters depending on who decided to let Deathshead kill in the beginning. You saved the Young guy so you got Jimi Hendrix and yes that is supposed to be Alternate History Jimi Hendrix

@@Divo_dev the game never outright says it because in this timeline they pretty much just random people because of the Nazis. It's mostly just having to conclude that's who they are by the things you can observe when interacting with them or snooping through their stuff. Jimi is pretty obvious because of the Psychedelics and the Left hand guitar playing. The Tesla girl is like a second niece or something to Tesla she just has a bunch of stuff Tesla would've been working on and talks about math a lot.

Yea… The people who call everyone commies the second you question their script had little temper tantrums about being called Nazis. Even though they completely agreed with the ideology. Overly emotional babies that project that weakness onto everyone else.
Tbf, there WERE "good Nazis". Many of them either repented through a brave death like the SS officer at castle Itter, or the average wehrmacht who had helped various Jews, gypsies and handicapped folks escape persecution. In every group, no matter your delineation for them there are good and bad souls amongst them.

But the folks throwing a fit about people not liking them aren’t good people following a “good Nazi”. They’re people who hate others for existing and not being/thinking like them. The game was not just a fun engaging action experience, it also had some deep moments that really took me by surprise.
Blaskowicz' commentary "This ain’t war, but the breaking of seals. The undoing of life itself.” has stuck with me since the release of the game.
It really nailed tha balance between goofy and drama
They made it all very believable

I absolutely love this and the second game. Despite how *wacky* the second game's gameplay can get, I just really adore the story in the first. The asylum escape is the perfect cathartic opening.

On a more critical note, it had slightly less heart and more absurdity. Which I love. I love both games for different reasons
@@Crocogatorpeople thought Fergus was dumbed down as a character, and it was too “woke” because it killed the old crippled German woman, and replaced her with a younger black woman who might not have had to live paralysed from the waist down, but also lived with a child in a nuked city for years. I personally don’t care about these issues, as I like gameplay over story.

What is hilarious is MOST of the people who cry about YOUNGBLOOD are generally the type of people who cry about anything that involves da weemonz and have never actually played it...Its just hurrr "woke" daa weemonz can't fight daa nazis.
In reality having actually played it its not good, because its the same couple of mission types over and over and over with extremely little variety to the locations and, the same 3-5 enemies over and over. I could care less that it had da weemonz in it or that they were annoying

@@lutherheggs451 I thought the general disdain from Youngbloud was because the leads were very obnoxious to watch. That and it alongside The New Colossus lost a bit of grit and genuine "weight" in the way The New Order handled its setting.
@lutherheggs451 Everyone I saw complaining about it was because the gameplay systems suck, the co-op is terrible, and the writing is obnoxious. No one cared it was two female leads. I actually thought it would be cool to play as BJ's kids, but they wrote them to be so obnoxious. It would have been obnoxious if they were guys.

I absolutely love how Kev's brain is pretty much on overdrive 24/7; and he can come up with legitimate funny jokes within milliseconds.
It's very rare to have a quality like that, I myself have it, and I'm not trying to toot my own horn. But sometimes it feels like your brain has a comeback/joke ready for any situation, before you've even processed what was said or done.
I mean its not the hardest thing to do in a video, you dont know how much editing he does...
But i gotta say.,.. he still is hilarious

I still think that Wolfenstein New Order and Borderlands 2 made a great gameplay joke by letting us dual-wield sniper rifles
It was the 2nd Wolfenstein that I played.
The first one was Old Blood, in which I still have one specific fond memory of.
That being which finding an exploit during the final boss and absolutely abusing that.

I platted the this and Old Blood, which are pretty much cake walks.... then you have New Colossus, which said "get rekted dude." especially when it comes to Mein Liben difficulty... One screw up, back to the start, with a lovely set of unskippable cutscenes.
This wolfen game from the modern takes had to have been my favorite to play.
Dogs should be terrifying as an enemy in just about any fps I'd say. A machine gun is much less of an advantage when your enemy has already jumped onto your body and is in the process of tearing your throat out with their teeth.
The timing of this video is crazy! I just played this game for the first time a couple weeks ago and loved it!

I never played this one but I played the hell out of the sequel. The Wolfenstein games used to be on the German index, meaning that you were not allowed to purchase them here or just in a censored version without all mention of the Third Reich stricken from it. I think you still can´t buy this one regularly off of Steam here.
