So many cute looks….thanks for the ideas! Also, you mentioned trying to find out how to chrome without gel. I saw one of Ginny’s videos (PurpliciousDipz) and she used Sticky Base coat from Maniology and applied it to her nail. Then she used one of her stampers and applied the chrome over the stamper. After the Sticky Base coat dried, she pressed the chrome on top of the nail and it actually chromed the nail! She then brushed the nail off and applied a top coat. I’m not sure if you’ve already heard/tried this method, but let me know what you think!

Can you layer different iridescent chromes together to get more colors???
If the chromes are the sheer ones- often called unicorn chromes- you absolutely can layer them! And to get more colors- the unicorn chromes change colors based on what color you have underneath it. So one or 2 unicorn chromes will go a long way in giving you different color options based on the what color you use underneath!
So I have a different brand top coat. Can use that to chrome. I read it’s best to use no wipe top coat, but I did read it doesn’t last as long. Please help.
You absolutely can use another brand! It does need to be no wipe for it to correctly work. I get mine to last long by topping the chromed nailed with gel base and curing, then gel top and curing. Does that help? Have you tried that?
What kind of lamp should I get?
