I bought about twenty-five powders, tried them and couldn’t deal with the liquids. I was wondering about peeling. I’m glad you explained how to avoid it. I think I’m going to try doing my own dip manicures.
The dip liquids scent can definitely be strong- I wear a real respirator mask when I dip! Here’s more about dipping with gels like in this video too!

@NicolesBeautyScene I was using Sparkle and Co dip liquids. Many problems. I now only use gels. I love Sundara Nails. I love them because they are Hema free and 21 free.
@@michellemsayloraww darn that’s frustrating with the dip liquids! I’ve heard great things about Sundara gels! I just got their blooming gel and foil gel to try! Since I’m really trying to only use hema free!

I use OG Dip Powder’s hema free primer and dehydrator- they work great and don’t irritate my skin like other primers and dehydrators have. Everyone’s skin is different of course- so you don’t know until you try! I only use hema free everything now!

Can I use builder gel in a bottle instead of gel base to apply dip powder?
It won’t work the same- builder gel is a thicker consistency than gel base. You can stir some dip powder into builder gel on a nail art palette (or plastic baggie) to do nail art or make it a glittery builder gel! It just doesn’t pour over and set like gel base. Does that help?!
I am currently so SICK, and happened day after I did my nails with nail boo at home and I’m 100% sure it’s the dip flu. I also wanted to ask, why does my nails look like they have cracks ? Only a week or few days later ? I really want to do my nails but I’m not sure about gel and the UV light, and regular dip I’m afraid to do now after how sick I got. What are my options? Thanks!!

Hi! One question, does the dip powder itself contain HEMA? Because I have some HEMA free liquids but I’m afraid to buy dip powder and for it to contain HEMA
Hi! Dip powder should not contain hema nor should dip liquids. Hema is typically found in some gels and primers. I don’t use any brands with hema so if you need recommendations for brands- let me know!!
