NOTE: this is not intended to be an impressive demonstration or a tutorial. I am posting here as part of a discussion on the JUPITER-X Facebook Group and for research. But I'm leaving it public in case anyone else finds it useful. Ratings disabled, comments and discussion welcome.
4K demo with close-ups of the Xm Preset "01-01 Single Tone / SL1", the default Scene, with only Parts 1 & 2 active. Dual Mode allows the two Parts to be layered and controlled with SL1. A simple arpeggio (disabling I-Arp) is also demonstrated, as is the Writing process (new Scene & Tone Write function). - Hudba
Great video thanks. My Jupiter X is arriving in a couple of days so thanks for mentioning the FB Group. I will check it out. The coloured sticker idea is genius! 👍😎
Excellent demonstration!
More of a Show About Nothing lol
Nice, how did you color the led's? replaced them or did something else? looks great, a bit like the Jupiter-8 style...
Believe it or not, just semi-transparent removable stickers. Definitely going for the J8 vibe - www.amazon.com/dp/B003M6VQNY
@@RobertSaintJohn haha 😄, thats what I thought first, but as you say, hard to believe 🤔...thanx!,

Please talk, it’s much more helpful 💐. The sequencer is a headache. Please verbally explain it. THANKS AGAIN Robert
Lol, I know!! I am working on a new tutorial this weekend where I will be both seen AND heard and may even do my own captions. I just finished the script last night.
@@RobertSaintJohn WoW, that would be awesome, I’m controlling my xm with octatrack via midi and I still want to live input into the xm sequencer and live records filters cutoffs etc. via xm knobs. I-arp is cool, but I want more control over the sequencer and I-arp, I have ideas that I-arp couldn’t imagine, actually we ALL do. I didn’t think my Roland se 02 sequencer would be better than the xm. Am I wrong about that? I look forward to hearing and seeing your videos in the future. You’re a Guru with the xm. Thanks for your response.
@@DJFAUZINYC It's not really a sequencer, it's a custom arpeggiator with a Step Edit function that can be used for very basic note sequencing (step, not real-time). I'm afraid live input of notes, modulation is not a possibility (yet?). The SE-02 sequencer is certainly a great one, but not really comparable to this. For now, it's best to use an external sequencer like a DAW, a Roland MC groovebox, or some other dedicated sequencer. BUT, I have been working on some live input techniques that are similar to real-time, and hope to share those in the future.
