- In this video I show how I refinished and restored the bluing on the watch hands of a 1910 Hamden Pocket Watch. The hands were scratched and pitted and something needed to be done. This is my first attempt restoring watch hands and Thermal Bluing them. I learned a lot along the way and I hope you do to.

You can preheat it in the oven by putting it very close to the broiler. Then just pull it out and hit it with the torch for a few seconds and it'll jump right over to blue.
