The best way to balance the advantages and disadvantages is to institute a system where petrol engines can be run either as a NA or a TC engine. While moving in clogged traffic it can run with Natural Aspiration and once Highways are hit, it can use Turbo Charge technology. Thus getting best of both the worlds.
Been enjoying the 1.4 Turbo Petrol in the Fiat TJet since 2012. Great performance car. Super sporty (firm) suspension. And excellent hydraulic steering feedback.
Fantastic Session!

Which one is better to go with long term reliability and performance 1L 3 cylinder TGDI or 1.5L 4 cylinder Diesel engine? Please help me out with this.
Are small turbo petrol engines durable like naturally aspirated ones?
Turbo Petrol - the BMW + Peugeot Prince 1.6 litre Engine which is in the Mini Cooper S (R56) model, is a little gem. So is the Ford EcoBoost 1 litre engine. Cute. Strong. Powerful little things. I did love my VW/ Skoda 2 litre TDi Engine. It had tremendous lugging power. But the little baby turbo petrol engines are fun. However the snarly little Naturally Aspirated small displacement engines are great too. All they need is a bit of straight piping to make em growl more....
Great details 👍
Nice work keep it up
What’s ur opinion on VW’s 1.2 tsi engine ?

Why manufacturers like Maruti's, Hyundai's, Kia's are not producing Petrol 1.2 - 4 cylinders Turbo charged engine?
Maybe it might deliver good linear Power, Refinement & Efficiency. Alongwith less maintenance & high durability of Engine.
Why manufacturers don't use a small super-charger for low end power and then when the speed increase the turbo starts...
will CVT be a feasibile gear box for a Turbo petrol engine? How reliable are the Nissan Turbo Engine?
Too good Sir!!
Nice info Abt turbos
What is the future of diesel cars in India? Should we go for one (Kia Sonet GTX+ diesel manual) as most of the companies are shifting towards petrol cars?
If honda and Toyota makes a turbo petrol then I will say thy are reliable.
Not just these 2 manufacturers but auto majors world over have capped pure ICE research by the year 2025. So Chances of seeing new turbo charged engines is very slim.
why audi RSQ8 still uses a 8speed torque converter instead of dual clutch which is more responsive than conventional torque converter
Can i expect a good mileage in verna 1.0 Turbo petrol DCT? Can i get better fuel efficiency by following a good driving style? How to drive to increase Fuel efficiency in Turbo petrol DCT?
Great vid imo
Being turbo based engs...power lag is there why so?
Can I have 1.0 turbo petrol with amt for city use.
Wouldn't that be a costing foul at the 1 litre car segment? Should be either AMT or turbo for your extra buck. 😉

CAFE regulations are less than a couple of years away. How exactly are these brilliant but tiny 3 pot 1 litre petrol mills going to meet the 30% increase in fuel efficiency norms by going turbo? It hence needs to be hybrids rather than turbos which has to be adopted. Even if not the full hybrids like Toyota's eCVT transaxle, it atleast needs to be suzuki's type of ISG mild hybrids to begin with.
Sir Kia Sonet drive review when?
How mahindra thar petrol 2litre work
these small engine will not last long with turbocharge , 4-7 yrs .
Sir new turbo engines are there any issues in highway run???? I mean to say is there any heating issues. Many people in youtube are scaring people not to buy turbo petrols due to issues. Should we go for these vehicles for turbo petrol???
Can we get boosterjet in 2023 sir? I mean it's coming with Fronx. Can we go there and get the fun of turbo and reliability together?
Why there are no 4 cylinder options in 1.0 turbo petrol??
Technoloy to achieve 4 cylinder like NVH levels with 3 cylinders is now available with manufacturers. Both at their lath & electronic engine management systems. So y the cost and weight of an extra cylinder? :)
@@GbMuthu thanks bro... But reliability wise any day 4 cylinder is better I think
For all driving enthusiasts go to 21.50. good to hear from horses mouth.
So people who have bought other cars just cruise responsibly and give way to the beasts when seen on highways.
Which engine suits nexon's character? Turbo petrol or diesel? Please comment
Ford is also going the NA way.
Yes, this even as they had pioneered the direct injection, turbo charged petrol engine technoloy through their ecoboost series of powerplants. This engine featured electric motor driven turbo inorder to reduce lag. 3 cylinder engine imbalances were sorted by offset flywheel rather than balancers. This mill also pioneered the use of smart alternators.
The engine to lookout for now is suzuki's 3 pot dualjet mill.
All the petrolhead hit a like
First as always

First to comment 😎
Unlike Germans and Koreans Japanese cars are reliable... and they namely Honda Suzuki and Tayota are not making turbo petrol engines that means they are not sure of it's reliability on long run..
