  • We commemorate over 1.7 million casualties who served with Commonwealth forces during the two World Wars.
Our sites and memorials are located all over the world where these brave men and women fell, in more than 150 countries, at 23,000 locations. We ensure that all those who died are commemorated in a manner befitting their sacrifice, through cemeteries, memorials and monuments.
Our work is constant, maintaining our sites, recovering and identifying the missing, and building new memorials.

Thank you for your superb works and in particular for looking after my Grandfathers grave near Arras. For me and my Father before me it is a pilgrimage.

Thank you . One question disturb me , there were many Hindu men who fought in WW1 & WW2 . Why did you send them to Graves? It's against Hindu Belief .

Hello and thank you for this question. We do not have the exact figure of how many Hindu men fought and died in the World Wars. However, the remains of those we commemorate were cremated in accordance with their religion. Thank you.

Those brave Hindu men volunteered to stop the tyranny and evil that was being inflicted upon people of all faiths. That’s true Hinduism ❤
