Penny's Theme - Losing Version Full w/ Lyrics (Failing All Microgames)

- Penny's theme song in WarioWare: Get it Together! has distorted music with altered lyrics that play whenever you lose a microgame in her mix. Because there are 15 unique "fail" segments to the song, you wouldn't be able to hear them all normally with just 4 lives so I stitched all of them together and looped the song. Note that there isn't currently a way to disable sound effects, so they are included in the video. There also haven't been any official English lyrics released, but the full song has been fan transcribed by the Super Mario Wiki: www.mariowiki..... Below is a copy of those lyrics, with minor edits by me--the lyrics that change when losing to a microgame are in asterisks. If you want these lyrics to show while the video plays, you can turn on subtitles!

@@uwuisbad520 Depending on your definition, there's at least 4 you can win by not moving at all, depending on your luck. The Roshambo/Scissors Paper Rock one, The Splatoon who won, Wario's Eye test with the rotateable U, and the fire ring one. All four have a chance of spawning with you already in the right position to win, with Splatoon being the most reliable.
If you extend the definition to 'no player inputs', there's a variety that Kat, Ana, Mona, and 9-volt can clear with just their automatic movement.

That's exactly what I thought the very first time I heard it 😅 it'd be cool if they somehow incorporate the failed lyrics...though I think priority should be given to Wario Land so we can get another song besides Ruins haha.

Same. Wish the normal and messed up lyrics could mash up to make the best possible song. Some of the normal lyrics are better and some of the messed up lyrics are better as well. Like your example, "even new songs can fall through", and the "it's missing a screw" lines makes sense in theme with the song in general. I don't know if that makes sense but..
TLDR: Both versions are great and both could be mixed together somehow to create an even better song.
@@alexanderadams9058 They can 100% be mixed together to become an awesome narrative of missteps and passion. The starting half can be filled with the mistake lyrics with maybe one or two correct lines, and as it picks up the mistakes lessen more and more before ending in that triumphant, determined PENNYYY

I feel like "it's missing a screw" would make more sense, given the line that comes prior. But it definitely sounds like a "Tr" sound and not a "Scr" sound. "it's messy here true" doesn't really make sense to me though cause the line before is talking about an invention, not a location, but idk. Then again, a couple lines before, they mention a workshop, so maybe that is it.
Right! I was thinking of the workshop when that suggestion was brought up, they both make sense to me (I do like "it's missing a screw" better as a line, I just hear it more as "it's messy but true") though I could definitely be wrong lol. The consensus seems to be "it's missing a screw" so maybe I'll just remove the other :D thanks for your input!

You actually need to clear several microgames and play again for at least 5 times to hear the entire failing versions of the lyrics, (this is assuming including with the three instrumental parts)
The line on failing the 10th Microgame is the hardest to interpret, it has two different possible meanings. According to MarioWiki, it is interpreted as "It's missing a screw"
That's what I did here--this is the full failing song stitched together via editing in sets of 3. I started out by losing the first 3 microgames, then winning the first 3 and losing 4 through 6, and so on. The 15th microgame marks the end of the song, so I did this until the 30th one (it was a little time consuming but I wanted the song to loop at least once). I based most of the lyrics off of the Mario Wiki transcription, but it isn't verified from an official source yet
@@ThaneGaming I admit it definitely takes guts to somehow replay this over and over 10 times, clearing 3 more microgames each time before failing 3 microgames in a row. It definitely takes the effort

A bit off-topic, but someone knows if another someone has uploaded the "results screen" theme for Penny's Mix? Listening to it at the end of the video made me realize it is as catchy as Penny's normal theme, but I haven't been able to find it uploaded in CZcams.

Yep! The full song plays for 15 microgames before looping, and there are 15 parts that change depending on whether you win or lose a given microgame. If you win, the song stays upbeat and on key, but if you lose the music distorts and the lyric for that line is replaced with something negative. For example, "Singer, mechanic, she's all that and more" turns into "Pick yourself up when you fall on the floor". You normally wouldn't be able to hear all of the losing segments in one session (since you only have 4 lives and no 1-Ups) so I edited them all together 😁
