    Thank you for making this! I’ve been watching all the back episodes (season 10 was the best!), not able to view the current season. You do a great job telling the story. The insight is valuable. My money is on Timber, but time will tell.

    new to your page alan. it was fun to watch last season and catching fish is the way to go. this time i'm rooting for tim from indiana, his area is a couple hours East of me and the terrain looks similar. not sure how the cold will affect him. 💥

    What’s the value add of just giving a chronology of the shows events? Would rather hear your perspective on opportunities, strategies, predictions.

      @@alantenta9825dude, you can ramble for an hour and a half and be entertaining. Unscripted. Seriously, you were by far, the most entertaining cast member EVER. It was nice, every now and then, to be able to laugh while watching this very intense, pretty profound show. I think you were such a welcome relief from the seriousness of what you guys had to do out there. I think this is what I enjoy about Naked and Afraid, as serious and desperate, and profound as their experiences are, I do found myself laughing, as they do, about the absurdity of life, when everything is stripped down to the bare necessities. The fact that they are nude, probably opens these opportunities up, right away, plus the addition of a partner. This is why you were such a breath of fresh air. You have such astute self awareness, as well as a general awareness of the absurdities of life, and offer so many sharp observations encompassed within your humor. It gives you such a sense of perspective, which is also, a rarely mentioned, but very effective survival tool. A sense of humor and ability to laugh at yourself, and circumstances. It is your secret weapon. So keep it up, if you enjoy it. We certainly do…

    Love seeing the great new uses for gear we go to see! That stuff is prob my fave part of the show.
    Do you think using the inner strands of the paracord for fishing line could work? Maybe if you weave a couple stands together to make it hold a fish? Obv I'm a total noob when it comes to this stuff...

    Yeah I had a pretty rough first day! I was dropped last so thankfully it wasn't too long of a day. I did film a lot of stuff on day 1, not sure why they didn't show it. Once I started on my permanent shelter on day 2, all the "drop shock" symptoms disappeared and I was good. It is kind of sad that 4 days of work was edited to just under 9 minutes, but I guess that is how it works.

    Maybe you can shed some light on why every shelter is not tall enough to stand in. I understand heat loss, but even a prison cell has to be tall enough to stand up, or it is torture....?? I believe you had a tipi...? Thanks!

    • @alantenta9825
      @alantenta9825  Před měsícem +2

      I could stand up in mine, handy for getting dressed. It took a long time to heat my shelter as a result of its size. If I was to do it again, I would build a smaller shelter.
