Almost forgot to leave some of my favourite wild camp spots in Scotland. Gruinard beach, Achnahaird beach, Oldshormore beach, Dunnet beach, the Cairngorms,...
Keeping positive despite the adverse weather with a wild camp. The dark moss Gossamer blends in well with the surroundings. Nice one Terence. You have now been to my suggestive wild camp place of interest - Small Water above Haweswater Atb Chris
Great vid done loads of wild camping looking to make first vid you done really good keep it going also angle tarn the lake district is mint worth alook 👍
Thank you very much, appreciate the comment. I've been to angle tarn before but definitely worth another visit I think when allowed out again. You should definitely get out and do that first video. All the Best Terry
It is indeed a beautiful place, I will definitely go back in the summer. Considering maybe doing the southern uplands way which goes alongside it. The Gossamer is very compact, looking for something I can sit up in for the colder months. Though being such low profile is great in higher winds. Atb TB
Hi Andrew, I don't believe permits are required, however always worth looking online. Most places in Scotland are still covered under the "rights to roam". I didn't see many folks about, though that will vary depending on time of year, weather etc.
What a lovely spot, and really nice music too. I really enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Dimitri.

St Mary's Loch certainly is a beautiful place. Went there in summer, was great. Nice compact tent, not sure my knees could cope with the kneeling tho

Am so wanting to. Do this after lock down a wee weekends camping
You should, its fantastic to get away even for just one night. A great way to get away from it all and relax.
Brilliant first video! Have you camped in the Cheviot Hills?
Thank you kevin. I have camped there a few times, not for a long while so may be worth a revisit. 👍🏼
I’m tempted to take my son to St Marys Loch for a nights camp. Are there any permits required? is there a danger of being moved on by rangers etc?
