Underrated comment
I'm nearly seven minutes in and I just realized that Scott captured litterally all his gameplay with his save file name as "Scatt."
I love how Scott is basically video game Rodney Dangerfield. It's basically one liner after one liner, punchline after punchline. And I think it's great and feels really fresh
To me, Scott's writing is as great as Arrested Development's first three seasons. I think that show is still supreme in terms of the intricacy of the jokes and the pacing of the humor. Arrested Development's humor follows essentially the same blueprint as modern-day meme humor, with reoccurring jokes adding new context to themselves every time they are used. I'm more attached to the characters of The Office, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Futurama, but Arrested Development is, to me, the most hilarious comedy series ever. So, for me to say that Scott Wozniak's writing is as on-point as that show's is high praise.

When God himself gives you a shout-out, that's pretty cool! I love that Dunkey and Scott have now collaborated, and that Dunkey is now canonically the ultimate being of the Wozniverse. (If you don't know what I'm talking about, just watch Scott's Christmas 2020 video about how he's not an RPG guy.)

I love this video, it’s such a good testament to Scott’s charm. It’s a video on a game that doesn’t matter at all, and would seem like a filler episode, but he not only makes it hilarious, but makes very interesting points about this enigma of a game. He is honestly such a smart writer.

The music slaps and while the game is your standard point and click, it took advantage of the setting well and expanded upon characters that were either recognizable but shrouded in secrecy or lesser known about! The 3D model for the Ultimate Protobot 1000 was pretty good for a DS game as well, and I believe that's where it was actually first introduced! The use of puffles was also super cool, PH and the elite puffles made me want puffles in game to actually have those abilities!

The comments about the 2D perspective not making sense are very silly. Everyone who plays computer chess plays in 2D because it's much clearer and easier to visualise the position. Its frustrating the all time classics game for the switch doesn't offer you the option to change to 2D, in tabletop mode I can barely distinguish the pieces.

Making garlic bread is my favorite. I've never told anyone this before but whenever theres a new Scott vid, I always wait til I get home, and make some garlic bread in the oven. Then I'll watch the video and have a nice drink with it. Watching your videos make me happy, and it's not just the content you make, you keep us captivated and entertained with the way you talk and get excited about special things in video games and I hope you find the good things in good games til the day you die and I will watch those videos until I pass, with my garlic bread of course.

That, my friend, is chess notation. In European style chess, this is the shorthand for how moves are logged
These moves are as follows
20. White A pawn moved to A4 ; Black B pawn moved to B3
21. White Bishop to B2 ; Black Knight (specifically one on the 6th rank, as apparently this needed to be specified) moved to D7
22. White Bishop to A3 ; Black B pawn to B2
23. White Bishop captures piece occupying "B2" ; Black Bishop does the same, capturing white's Bishop
24. White H-Pawn to H3 ; Black Bishop to E4
Pretty simple, and obviously when we're trying to denote moves, this long explanation I've written out would be horrible, so it's written in this shorthand
If you know chess, that would make sense, and alot of people in the UK just know this, as it's common knowledge. If it were released in the US, I would personally want to see tips for a new player, maybe explaining what that notation is. I just know because I play chess, and you end up learning how to read that shit

@@douglasthequilava I haven't touched it since Awakening, but the green units were regarded as being dumb and weak across most of the series before then at least, often jumping into battles they had next to no hope of winning (but not before killing recruitables or ruining item drops). It was a bigger problem in earlier games IIRC. Path of Radiance & Radiant Dawn handled green units better than earlier games from what I remember/have been told.
