Best review on youtube! Your natural showing is a way to go! The other reviewers are ruining it with super-imposing and macro shots, and thus you can't get a real feel for the watch, like you can with your videos. Thank you Doug!
Thanks dude, been slowly growing out my collection and falling more and more in love with watches - it just goes to show, money isn't everything! Casio knocking outta the park again. You convinced me to get the green at retail instead of going for the silver or maybe a modded one online. I'm almost worried how much wrist time it'll take off my Seamaster, Tank, etc.! Great vid, keep up the natural light shots in the grass, great contrast.
Hey Alfie, it sounds like you have a great collection and I agree with you … the Casio will be a nice addition to your already impressive wrist buddies! You really can’t go wrong with either the silver or green … but the green is definitely more unique. 😊
yeah, you are right, after seeing the Green one, it does give you a different feel. without seeing one in person the silver one is always safe. but the Green one really give you a vibe
Thanks Doug for your review. The silver one is definitely a lot more elegant in my opinion. And like you mentioned, the green is the best to add to a collection. I personally don't have the collection mindset despite owning more than a dozen watches :) I own the silver one and keep coming back to it as my daily. Live in London, not very safe for anything over a grand. But for the price, the silver gm2100 is gold :)
Hi Olly! Thanks for your great comment! Such a shame that one has to worry about watch theft even if it is not a Rolex, PP, or AP. And I completely agree with your thoughts of the silver CasiOak. I’ve been wearing mine for the past 2 days and it almost seems like the honeymoon again. 😁
Great perspective video! You have convinced me to buy both of them, including the blue version as well. I couldn't decide which one to get! And because they're easily affordable, and look great with anything you wear. I bought 3!🤦🏻♂️ SMH
I don't think anyone's told you this, but you kinda look like the UFC Octagon announcer and legend Bruce Buffer. Greetings from India, great review! I ordered my Silver Casioak today!
Hey, thanks a lot for this video, the best (detailed) showcase I found so far :) Can it be that the green one has more "readability" on the digital part (easier to read) than the silver one, or are they identical on this matter? I was watching the video and at around 4:06 it seems like the green one is more easy to read (the digital part) than the silver one. Is that true also in everyday use or is only an effect of the light and the camera in this video? Thanks a lot!!
Hi Raul, thank you so much for your nice comments! The legibility of the digital section is really the same for both. Unfortunately, my (older) eyes are having trouble reading either in darker conditions. 😂
Hey man, great review. Needed your opinion on something: So I'm a HS student, and I need a watch that goes with as many things as possible without breaking the bank, and I currently have a beater Casio AE1500 and an Armani AR0264 my dad passed down to me. Don't wear the latter much cuz its beautiful and I don't want to damage it, plus I don't wear a lot that goes with the brown strap. So I'm currently torn between the Edifice EFS S590DC and the silver G in your video. The Edifice has solar, is a bit more elegant-looking and bigger, while this G-shock can be worn pretty much anywhere without worrying about harming it. What would you pick if you were in my place, and is there any other watch you'd recommend over the two?
Hi Muhammad, thanks so much for your comment and question. I do think the silver CasiOak is a perfect watch for what you describe. It is stylish, rugged, lighted for dark situations, and so functional (alarms, timers, stopwatch, etc.). Here's an more in-depth video I did of my silver one if it helps: czcams.com/video/4U0pab3itQU/video.htmlsi=Y2zeBEpaLGel7VV4
Hey man I just bought the black one BUT the minute and seconds hand (the lume) aren't that bright as it appears in the video. Is there a different setting for that or I got mugged lol
Hello, do you think GA2100 is better than GM2100 for sport ? This is my only concern right now, I see it look good but I don't wanna be concern about it too much
I do think it would be better for sport … it is lighter (you will hardly notice it on your wrist) and the all resin design will not get scratched as easily as the metal GM2100.
Hi Mark, and thank you for your comments z& question. Yes, the green strap is “perfect” with the dial. As I mentioned in the video, the green one is actually my girlfriend’s watch and I get to set it often from afar in all sorts of situations and lighting - it is stunning! 😊
@@DougsPerspective Decided on the blue one. Just ordered a green dial Seiko Willard clone frome Watchdives. The blue one looks gorgeous like the green.
Hey Sandys1999, I have seen them. The strap looks very well made and nice. However, I think it fits the look of some metal CasiOaks (green & blue) but not the silver. The silver looks too “fancy” - like an AP Royal Oak - and needs a more polished strap or bracelet. Where’s the colored dial versions look good with the NATO IMO.
@@DougsPerspective fair point - but i think they were channeling the submariner-on-a-nato almost-james-bond vibe. I think they nailed that. there's a bunch of army channels who are picking it up.
Hi Tariq, I do have “not perfect” eyesight up close and the green can be a challenge to see at times like lower light conditions. Also, the digital display on the green is also harder to see vs silver one.

Nailed it with the natural lighting and distance shots
Thanks Nick … I do that with all my videos to show the watches in natural light. 👊😊
Thanks for the casual natural light shots.
My pleasure Victoria … I’m glad it helped you!
Awesome video. Love that you show them in different lightning, angles and distances
Thank you Ashi 😊

Thank you Chuan! 😊

Thank you Shahbaz! 😊👍
that green looks good wow
Hey Bosdaks, I agree, the green is awesome! Thanks for your comment 😊
Bought recently a green one. Perfect watch, and very beautiful. Had already the ga2100 all black before! :)

That would be a sweet combo of CasiOaks!
Hey man
I just bought the black one BUT the minute and seconds hand (the lume) aren't that bright as it appears in the video.

Hey Aman, it may be the outdoor lighting that makes it brighter.
green makes u look 2x hotter

The material for front glass is using resin or crystal glass?

have the green ,can anyone tell me where I can find a cloth
replacement strap ? love the watch , not the strap!!
Unfortunately I don’t know. I hope someone can help out.
where did you get the silver one?
Hi Juan, I bought my silver one at Marcy’s during the friends and family sale for $150.
Which one did you end up keeping?
My girlfriend still has the green one and I gave my silver one to my nephew.
straps letting this beautiful watch down!
