I just got the full metal Casio Oak GM2100 and my wrist can't get enough of it. really enjoy this watch and it is my first Casio G-Shock....love Casio and have many other models- but this one is really special, light weight and low profile and very accurate.
Nice review thank you. I got myself the same watch and the Green one because I wanted to swap the cases, the Gray dial with the gun metal case looks fantastic and the green with the chrome much better as well
Looks fantastic in the outside!! I‘m still so glad you are doing such videos!! Oh and btw bartonwatchbands has options to change straps like a nato for the gshock :D but not sure if it‘s also for the CasiOak.
Hey Sir Mopy, thanks for your comments. Yes, I basically do all of my videos outside in natural light (instead of studio lighting) because I think one gets a better representation of how the watch actually looks day to day. Also, thanks for the strap suggestion ... I will check them out :)
Just bought mine about a week ago. This watch was launched in August 2021 in Japan and immediately it went out of stock. Most Casio showrooms carry only 1 or 2 pieces of each model at the moment, that means it us still very popular. You are very correct about the digital display. It is a tack too small to read. The other issue is the lume. It is high time Casio upgrade the lume and not the price alone. Sad to say, I paid about USD 250.00. The selling price when it was launch was around USD 255.00. It is a nice watch BUT buy it when it's on sale.
I just got mine in April 2023. They have the 25% friends/family discount right now as well. I feel like this watch is a steal at $150. If your wrist isn't too small for this watch, there's really no reason not to buy!
Just picked up this same model. I’ve been looking for the perfect resin/metal design gshock to wear casually instead of my 3yr old solar resin model that is primarily my work watch. I haven’t seen on video if you’re able to display the time digitally instead of the date? Can you cycle between the two?
This looks really nice and your vid shows it the best…I have the GA 2100 black but doesn’t stand out to me like this one. Curious how it fits with long sleeve dress shirt? Does the cuff sit ok or is it too big thanks

Hi Shahanleboss, no I think you’ll be perfectly fine. My girlfriend has the green version of this men’s watch and her wrist is much smaller - and it looks great on her. The watch is not very tall and the rubber strap conforms to your wrist, so it is very good for smaller wrist compared to other G Shocks. I hope you get it - I know you’ll love it! 😁
Hi Suriye, the watch is very light but the case diameter is rather large. My wrist size is 7.25" / 18.4 cm for reference. There is another smaller version if you feel it is too large.
imitation is the sincerest form of flattery - unk author. It doesn't get any better than the GM-2100. My G Shock GM-2100 has the suffix of ACR ( on the box GM-2100N-2ACR) on the back it's GM-2100B anyone know hwy this discrepancy ?

Hi Stripes Plays, the watch fits well under a cuff. I believe it is about 12mm tall (about the same as a Submariner).

There actually is a blue band for it. Also, there are Casio adapters to convert so you can use a NATO.

Hi Joe, yes the dial is a brushed silver. It looks beautiful however does make it a bit harder to read with my 55 year old eyes :D
