    • @pucaslife
      @pucaslife  Před 3 lety +8

      Great question! Yes, I've driven the Taycan. It was actually a tough decision on the Porsche Taycan vs the Tesla. The Porsche Taycan does handle better, but only slightly. Off the line, the new Model S is just as fast, the LR version is faster than the Taycan 4S and very similar to the Turbo version. The Taycan Turbo S will beat the Tesla LR version, however the Plaid will beat the Porche Taycan Turbo S. Overall, price was also a factor, but ultimately the battery and Auto Pilot were the main deciding factor for me. If you get similar features of the Porsche Taycan 4S, you are likely going to spend around $120-$140 for the car and the fully loaded Model S LR you will spend about $100K. However, remember you have a battery that will go 405 miles fully charged compared to the Taycan that only goes about 230 miles (on it's best day). Plus, I just love Auto Pilot and can't live without it. It was an easy decision for me. With all of that said, I do love the Porsche brand, they just aren't there yet. Maybe in a few years they will have more of a comparison to Tesla.
