    Appreciate all of your great videos! They are so informative and really help my family make our own decision. Really hope to see a video on how the trunk’s space perform whenever going camping or a couple days of road trip. Thanks again for all these reviews!

      Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it comments and feedback. I’ll try to record a video for you on the trunk and frunk space. Let me know if there’s anything else you want me to highlight.

    Also palm over the right side of steering wheel buttons (covering all at the same time) activates the horn. Do not have to push the horn button directly.

    Nice video! I think I will steer the same way. However, if the air bag deploys while you are making a turn reaching across the wheel you can kiss your arm goodbye.

    Do you have examples of three point turns on a more busy street (e.g. downtown) or parallel parking? I don’t think there has been much criticism for the use cases in this video because they are best case scenarios for the yoke.

    Thank you for another video! I have watched every one so far.
    I was wondering if you could do decibel ratings? For me the main thing is highway noise but could be interesting either way.
    I notice you have an Apple Watch which actually has a pretty accurate built in app called “Noise” which gives you a live instant decibel number. 80 on the highway is the main thing I am interested in so if you happen to have the time or remember at some random point to glance at it on the highway and could shoot me a reply I would really appreciate it. This info isn’t available anywhere at all yet online.
    Thank you!!!

    Your steering technique is unsafe, not only due to the limited control afforded by one-handed steering. The airbag in the steering wheel poses the risk of serious injuries to your arms and hands when they are in front of the airbag, including hand amputations and degloving. This is why the "push and pull" procedure for steering wheel operation is now recommended (which avoids putting your arms in front of the airbag) rather than "hand over hand".

    Use the steering wheel on a roundabout going off to the right. I really want to see how awkward it is changing from the right to the left indicator when the steering wheel is upside down.

    We need a long-term review, something like 10,000+ or 3 months. It would be good to know how you feel about the LR and if you're still happy or if there are things you dislike but have learned to live with...

  • @AMPed.
    @AMPed. Před 3 lety

    why were you pressing the brake at 3:55? Unless you like spending money and for no reason and changing brake pads when they could last 100,000 miles more! It is not only that, but you can relax your feet while waiting and not be forced to press the brake. comfort with one pedal driving is one of the best parts of having an EV

  • @TheAltitudeFitness
    @TheAltitudeFitness Před 3 lety +3

    Why do you put, “Better than plaid?” In every video title- when the ONLY thing better about the long range is the lower price. Otherwise the plaid is better in every way. It’s fine some people can’t afford the extra $45k but trying to justify the long range is “better” just because it’s cheaper is dumb. The plaid is the best model S.

    If you can't get inside plaid then you can't feel it.
    Plaid is Plaid...

    • @pucaslife
      @pucaslife  Před 3 lety +6

      Yes, I’m not doubting that Plaid is more powerful. It’s faster in every aspect no matter what speed you’re going at. My video series is it’s really about, can you go with the long range version, is that good enough for most people? I’m trying to show that the inside is extremely similar in both cars there’s only small differences. Are those small differences worth the extra cash it takes to get into a plaid? That’s really what I’m trying to do is give a different point of view and allow people to make their own decision. One of my good friends just ordered a plaid, as soon as he gets it I’m going to do some deeper comparisons so that the audience can see those differences. Any suggestions from you would be greatly appreciated.

    Looks terrible sorry such an ugly design and is not practical for spirited driving at all!!

    • @PragmaticTornado
      @PragmaticTornado Před 3 lety

      Good point for sure. Though, at least on my 2021 Model 3 LR AWD, having fun with the driving means either accelerating hard or taking the corners hard (without losing grip). Traction control is permanently on and there is no way to disable it anymore. Only the Performance model can do this.
      My point being that there is never a situation where I have to throw around the steering wheel. That said, I probably wouldn't want a yoke anyway if I could choose. And if it meant losing the levers on the side of the wheel, I definitely wouldn't want it.
