Bravo, Thomas! Great to see you in short sleeves during the famous Tommaso Driving Lounge! Ahhh, memories of summertime... Have you ever seen the Learn Engineering (channel) video on the inner workings of the Tesla EV? The simplicity of the drivetrain is amazing. Kudos to the engineering at Tesla. May the exterior panel gaps continue to improve and match the tech inside....

one missing element of the review is a charging experience at Tesla supercharger network, for example from 10 to 60% or from 10 to 80%. It really makes a difference over other EVs..
That's where the German cars are miles ahead. You don't buy a Tesla for quality interior or build quality ,but for tech features , EV features like instant torque ,charging centers, convenience, etc. I'd still get an Audi E-Tron , Mercedes EQC , Polestar 2 ,over this Tesla . An EV with better quality interior and build quality , but some guys are just Tesla lovers no matter what !
you are absolutely right. It is a shame how low quality the interior is. It feels very bad to touch and look at. They should look at the quality Audi has to offer when it comes to interior quality.
It's still the best EV out there in the most important aspects, like range, charging speed, supercharger network etc. Remember that the first model S came out in 2012, they keep improving the build quality.
@@gregorygant4242 If you are willing to wait you might end up buying a Lucid motors manufactured car/SUV with both build quality being high and technology/performance/range/efficiency unmatched.
Sorry for bragging, but it still looks and feels cheap. I don't care about the software and acceleration when it's ugly inside and feels cheap . It would be poking my eyes every time I start driving it.

I find the Tesla model S not to be comfortable to ride in regardless of their tech capabilities. For my $$$, I’d go with Audi Etron sportback
