- Carp fishing brand, New Direction Tackle, have moved from tech to nets, with the release of their brand-new Quick-Release Landing Net. The biggest single frustration when using landing nets is often the fiddly removal of the arms at the end of the session or once you’ve caught a fish. New Direction have simplified this process with a quick-release unit that sits next to the spreader block and releases (or tightens) the tension across the arms instantly. Here’s everything you need to know…

Good idea … tempting… stunning carp and great vid guys xx
All well and good but can the mesh be replaced?
When I hear the name ND I think something completely different 🤔
When you pulled the cord when it was taught there was no difference to when it was slack
Does the spreader block unscrew as I want to put a quick release on it!
I want an electric landing net.
Great idea but but how long the bit of string as people my self included step on net so how long string to tangle around bramble and legs etc
I was thinking the same thing not being able to ship the net out due to the cord being tangled or trapped on something, if so resulting in your concentration going to the net and not the fish on your rod heading to the first near by snag
nice they added a bit of material to stop the net ripping when you pull out the arms good idea
I can't find it on Amazon
I've got one, in summer found it to be great. Came to use in winter freezing weather and net arm broke were chord goes through very thin.
Solving a problem that never existed 🤦♂️🤣
Disability has never been a problem?stupid comment.
I bet your one of those that moan about ready tied rigs thinking your not an angler if you can’t tie your own.
Some ppl can’t do the things that come natural to ppl without disabilities ! Think of the bigger picture instead of being so narrow minded!
I got good vid for you Joe what about cricket fishing on main lake you know the one joe 😂
Ive had my net for over 40 years. Only replaced the handle twice and the net three times.
Well you know what they say !!!look after your net !!!!
Triggers broom
Have you got a picture with the net 😂
Technical net that
That will make life easier if im honest. Not got the strength in my arms nowadays.
wait for the Sharp Tackle one. It's way better than this.
I'm Liking This :) :)
I think I’m going to be buying a new landing net.
Ideas are good, the quality is questionable ,I definitely think that string will cause a problem or two over time
That's a fair bit of money for a landing net in my opinion
Someting else you dont need...
The ratchet wont last long.
