honestly, myself caring about transmog and just hearing his opinion is a feel good moment. Transmog brings alot of things to this game that alot of people dont even recognize

i love how they mix in subtle sets from time to time, that look more like rpg and less like power rangers. strangely enough most ppl only seem to like the overly extreme toy story colorful stuff. the monk set he doenst like e.g. i find really well done, also the uldir set
nighthold sets and tier 2 are my favorite. Tier 2 is literally iconic - dragonstalker, transcendence, judgement, bloodfang. Nighthold has beautiful sets, lean into class fantasy a lot and one of the few times the hunter set was up to par too.
he's right about the Mythic BRF sets it was the only time Blizzard gave the sets animations and made the Mythic version look different than the lfr/normal/heroic versions but then they stopped doing it which sucked
i'll let my feelings about warfronts and BFA aside for a moment and just say it.
the warfront and heritage sets are the best ever in WoW so far. and many of WoD as well.
Yes, élite plate set from arathi and élite Mail set from darkshore are the best
Yeah, i don't like many of the older sets due to their crazy saturation and multicolor mix, look pretty bad, with the exceptions following the basic rules that all cosmetics do now, a unifying theme and 2-3 colors.
Yeah all heritage sets....except gnomes. Gnome warlock? You are a tinker! Mage, hunter, priest? Tinker!
@@vld7759 my problem with most Heritage sets is that ussually it feels that must be use by certain clases, for example dwarf hs feels like a warrior or paladín set yet not a caster one
@@NazarusGG Yeah dwarves goblins and gnomes have the worse ones. Thing is dwarves are typical mountaineers and warriors, ideal thing would be to have multiple variants for armor.
Paladin T2 and Warlock T5 still nr. 1 to this day.
What makes Tier 1 Warlock set better than Tier 2 in my opinion is simple. Tier 1 Warlock set is an actual Warlock summoning demons and shit, Tier 2 is a Necromancer. Blizzard made a set for a class that wasn't even in the game lol
Warlock t6 and it's flapping wings man. Nothing beats that and that's coming from a druid main 😬 Respect

My two personal favorites are the DK Dreadwyrm (Nighthold) set and the Paladin Radiant Lightbringer (ToS) set. ToS in general are especially good as they were remodels and/or updates of the old Black Temple sets, but the Paladin set was just exceptionally well done. Probably because it had an awesome BT set to work from in the first place, and they just outdid themselves on that model. Especially combined with Unlocked Ashbringer, but they're from the same expansion, so... pretty obvious they'd match up.
He looks at the sets, reads the chat, talks and plays the game almost without seeing it all at the same time

asmon forgot that the challange mode sets was also made into recolors for the class hall sets so you can get versions of them in game now, just lesser versions
What is the weapon transmog he is using?
The Firelands Mage set, and Priest T6 are the peak of tier design IMO, can't believe he didn't bring either of those up.
Priest tier 11 (normal) set on a female character will always be one of my all time favourites, even though I never even played a priest.
Hunters did get some love during Cata as well, the Firelands heroic set comes to mind.
The murloc set (normal mode tier 11) looked pretty cool too. I remember leveling a goblin hunter from scratch just because it looked so good on them.
I am a very big fan of Priest tier 5 & 6. Judgement set obviously, Paladin from ICC, Tier 11 Mage. All I remember at the moment.
I think some of the challenge mode sets were recolored as class order hall sets
The damn shoulders from Warfronts took an eternity to drop but damn my pally has been wearing them ever since.

Paladin Tier 2 is to me the perfect set. Everything about it, from the form, theme, colors looks incredible

bliz should just bite the bullet and bring all old world textures up in quality. There is a lot of armor and weapons i would like to use for transmogs but as they stand they would be silly looking with other pieces simply due to the resolution difference..
I’m surprised he didn’t talk about any Wrathful set, personally I find those the best pvp sets for the majority of the classes.
Wrathful Dk has mismatch belt and boots, also is painfuly Low res, compressed and badly detailed
lets be real, vanilla tier sets are so fucking good. they are basically... when you imagine like representation of class,y ou imagine them in vanilla tier sets. probably tier 2, lets be real, those are fucking amazing.
Tier 1 warlock has prob the best color scheme of all the sets in the game. It’s vibrant and comes together super well
t2 pally was re made in BC but its purple drops in most of the heroic's
They basically have a upgraded Judgement set in game with the blood elf heritage armor. Couldn't be too much to ask for
Legion sets and elite warfront BFA sets are the best sets we've got. Fight me
The last good Hunter set was Mythic Blackrock Foundry. The rest have been disgusting or shaman looking
I started playing on retail in MoP around 3-4 months before WoD. My biggest regret in WoW is that I didn't do the challenge modes on my hunter. :(
For a more subtle, nature look I think Cenarion skins could use a clean up in textures. Imagine if padded armor, silver accents and the leafy shoulders were clean and crisp. I'd take that salad set.

I am so glad I got all the CM sets from MoP on all classes. I love them all. They let me keep some rare class fantasy in these dire BFA times.
I have seen a couple of videos and I have to ask. Is he playing while he is looking at the sets, or some other times video? I can see his character moving in the backround and killing stuff but how does he do it when he is viewing the set?
Why do people seem to love the Naxx warlock set so much? I'm a warlock main and I always thought it looked pretty average looking.

I'm a little newer to WoW and have been playing since Legion. What does Tier mean when he's talking about Sets. He talks about Tier 3 sets from classic. Can someone help?
They released raids at different times. Each new raid was an additional tier higher (stats wise) over the previous one.

They remade some for legion raids they looked dope as fuk for mythic on some classes i hope they do the same in shadowlands i wanna go back and farm the legion raids for all the cool sets cant do that yet tho :/

TBH Rogue sets that are too bulky or too much going on are just out of fantasy TBH.
Rogues are assassins. Would sneak up to someone and kill them. Needs movement freedom and slipperiness. Like bruhh. Some of the rogue sets are like the new Assassin's Creed trailer. Where an assassin cosplays as a warrior lul.

So I know Asmon always has music playing when he streams and that would get these vids a coryright claim so what/how are they distorting the music every few secs?

Hunters without A DOUBT got the most shitty sets. There's no question. That's not saying they got SOME amazing ones. But out of every class hunters EASILY got the most shitty ones.
