      @@Gentlemanclub5 Kari Jalonen was the coach of Lev Prague in the 2013/14 KHL season. They made it to the playoff finals that year. Probably one of the reasons why he was chosen, he has worked with the Czechs in the past.

    Tough game. I just love Pasta, he can have a hattrick but rather passes to Červenka saying "they feed me with great assists all the time so I want to give them something back" (speaking about Krejčí and Červenka).
    I'm glad the guys are not OK with this performance, they realise they still need to improve.

    • @geuros

      In the beginning of the tournament I would believe that USA will be super easy. Then they beat Sweden, I have no idea what's happening lol. But if they keep fouling so much we have really good power play, that could make the difference. I am lacking a bit of movement from our best line, it's incredible what they can do with the puck but their movement is not that fast. On the other hand their positional play is so great they don't even need to skate too fast. I don't know, I'm no hockey manager, just hope we will make it.

    • @Gentlemanclub5

      @@geuros i never took Usa too seriously to be honest ... i take Russ, Can, Swe Czech etc more serios tbh every year , ofc Usa is scary but idk , i worry more about other countrys every year , you have to give them their own medicine when you playing against them , you saw that when we played against them , we were attacking a lot and crushed them totally with our defence like usual , i think zcech gonna win tomorrow easily and tuesday Fin-zcech gonna be tougher game ...

      Right back at you. Your guys weren't bad at all, 5-on-5. Tightening up the discipline a bit would go a long way.

  • @FreddieBear1

    Decent effort, however I do feel a little disappointed. I wish my team Norway had a bit more guts and took opportunities when we get invited to attack and shoot. Czechia played a fairly passive game in comparison to previous years, but they still win fair and square. They have some amazing plays and they do score beautiful goals, but they only had 32 shots, and many of them were easy saves for Jonas Arntzen. Norway did at least score once, and it was a good power play goal. However I wish we made smarter decisions at times. We gotta learn from our mistakes instead of repeating them. Overall a fun match to watch. Good luck Czechia for your remaining games! Thanks for another hockey lesson lol!!

    • @JTM1809
      @JTM1809 Před 2 lety +7

      Well, I'd say your guys did fairly well 5-on-5. Which is to say, that if you polish the discipline a tad (and that's coachable), you should see an instant improvement on the scoreboard. You just can't give guys like Krejčí and Pastrňák power plays.
      Also, some bad luck on Norway's part. They hit the post at least twice. Could have been a much tighter game, especially since our guys often struggle to give an all-game effort against non-favorites, which sometimes comes to bite them. I've seen our guys give Norway some proper beating a handful of times through the years, but this wasn't the case. You've got nothing to be ashamed of today. If anything, I'd say we were a bit lucky.

    This game really came down to czhezia scoring the key goals they needed at the right time and converting on their deadly strong pp. In the first period the czhezia dominated , but they didn't create many dangerous scoring chances , in the second we Norway got back in it , but unfortunately yet again one of the biggest differences between top 6 teams like czhezia and lower ranked teams like Norway showed its ugly face and that is lower ranked teams have to convert the big chances the top 6 teams are way more effective when they get a decent scoring chance. In the third we had some good scoring opportunities too , but we were too ineffective decent game defensively poor game offensively a big + to young Jonas Arntzen in net he should be the starter in the final two games yes he made mistake on the second goal , but apart from that he was flawless. Big ggs to Czhezia and good luck for the rest of the tournament Norways 🇳🇴 tournament is 99% over unless we are able to walk on water 💧:)).
