This is a really great video! I love the meal ideas you shared. I’m originally from Louisiana born and raised and we live in Mississippi now so I’ve seen way too many hurricanes I care to count. It’s always a good idea to keep shelf stable food in the pantry, I keep it fully stocked not just for hurricane season but for emergencies in general you just never know what may happen. For hurricane Katrina we we’re able to catch fish from our pond so that was a treat to have. We cooked on propane burners because the electricity was out for over a month and all my appliances are electric 😜. I would definitely love to see more videos like this. Have a blessed week. 😊🦋

Your hair is beautiful! We had the black beans, corn, tomatoes, and rice last night. I use seasoned diced tomatoes and then my daughter and I spice ours up. Grandkids love to scoop it up with tortilla chips. I’ve used leftovers for breakfast burritos, just add some scrambled eggs and cheese. Going to try the chicken pasta. It reminds me of chicken cacciatore. Thank for your ideas.
Looks good! We usually fix what meat is thawing out in the freezer so not to waste anything. We are blessed with our water. We have a mountain spring. God bless 🙏
Emergency Shelf Stable Meals .... Like 47 ... Yumm. yumm, so heavenly delcious Pantry meals. I mostly love the Corn with black beans and raisins. Super yummylicious and nutritious adding that SPanish rice, oh so heavenly ... and I also love the vegetable soup with beef chunks. A very nice comfort food ... Ypu could just freeze that when it gets cold and you will just warm them up and good to go .... All Nutritiously prepared meals and even more easier to prepare with your way ... I usually fill the can half full of water. Swirl it around to rinse out the can, and add to the pot.

For your beef soup, if you added a brown gravy packet instead of the water and bouillon you would have a thicker soup.

Mine would have to be ghetto chow mein. Soy sauce flavored ramen, canned vegetables, canned meat.

Great tip! For us, our fridge and freezer is the first thing we hook up to the generator but we use meals like this a lot while camping.

Where did you find your shelf stable meat chunks like that
These ones were processed by a friend but you can get canned beef chunks (like keystone brand) at any local store or Walmart.
You keep Ground beef in your pantry? It's Not shelf stable.
I don't have ground beef in this video, but I do plan to can some ground beef soon as it can be pressure canned into a shelf stable item.
