2+Tough this Realmgate Wars series has helped me understand AOS lore a lot more, very informative!
Great video, but I feel like there were details about the battle of the Brimfire Gate that needed to be expanded upon, such as the fact that it was thought to be an assault on a single fortress but in reality it was 8 of them that barred the way to the gate itself. The keep of Skrathax that you mention is the 2nd fortress they break through. I thought it was an amazing battle to read and you do well to describe the key beats to it.
thank you for the feedback, truthfully the video was getting rather long and I still wanted time to discuss the bigger idea of who controls which All-gate. I condensed many details of battles and location throughout all the books in the interest of time :)

I picked up AOS 4? 5? years ago when it first came out. So many unanswered setting questions I decided to wait awhile before diving in. Thanks for filling in the gaps and supplying the answers. These lore vids are exactly what I need.
I only recently started collecting & playing Warhammer, so I got a lot of lore and stories to catch up to, so thanks for making these video's.

The novel tie in to the events in Shyish's part of All-Gates actually reveals that Nagash willingly set up the SCE at the Endgate as he doesn't want Sigmar and Order to get too strong and Chaos too weak. And that he's playing Chaos and Order off each other, weakening both of them as he readies the Great Plan that led to the Malign Portents and the Soul Wars.
Even a couple of years ago they were setting up Nagash as a major player in AoS.

The Realmgate Wars novels are kind of mixed bag. They're not even really novels to begin with but rather collections of shorter stories, some covering and expanding on the events in the Campaign Books, others covering other battles in the RGW Campaign.
That said, a lot of the more recent novels and short stories have been really good and are worth looking at.
Well said :) I didn’t want to go too far down a rabbit hole with Nagash as Order and Chaos are the primary factions in this series. When I cover souls wars I plan to go back to those books and show how Nagash has been planning and laying the foundations of this for some time

Pretty good, not Too bad.
The Metal Realm Siege was the craziest part. Not only because of the situation & things at play, but like 2+Tough mentions how it was a fight physically & mentally. I mean all fights r, but not on this epic scale. For some reason that part in the vid just really hit me & the crazy mind games & tricks that were being done to all sides by chaos is CHAOS. Mental fights & hardships have always had a special kind of limitlessness if thats a way to put it & is so much more complex than anyother form of a challenge & or fight. The mind is so unknown to us more than not, its possibilities r mysterious in nature like as the universe. In short thats y it scares the shit out of me more than any els, its unknown & depth is beyond what we can comprehend. But great vid brother, & im a fan of the Blood God more than any other Chaos Gods. But ya the God of Change scares me the most. & if stuff i mentioned about the mind dosent scare whoever says different then their just being a ignoramus taking that topic lightly lol. U the man 2+Tough

When you retell the stories I forget that I was bored out of my mind reading the novels.
Seriously, the plot points of the stories are overall good but mostly I couldn't care less what was happening to anybody because there was no room for identification. But the newer novels got better at it. I am enjoying soul wars as I am reading it these days.

I think after listening to this series I start to understand what I really dislike about the AoS lore. Sigmar. He can tear through everything he wants, but loses to chaos. He is the only one who managed to close his doors so Chaos can't come in despite the others being goods too. And he can just make new super soldiers but other goods don't still don't understand if they can't or just wont create such creatures to be honest but I would guess the first one (they are just not Sigmar). After closing his doors he can just send his dudes into EVERY realm despite the closed doors to open them, no other Good did this, only reason why I can think of is GW decided they just CAN'T but Sigmar CAN for what ever reason. He is the God who can do shit others can't but he and his army get trounced by chaos.
I am sure this is way more complicated but that is just what I get from the Lore I could scrap together. With how inconsistent the Worlds are shown to work by GW it is hard to understand what is going on and to picture how all this works and looks.
That is a totally valid criticism on the whole, (I’m not gonna UM AKCHUALLY you). But thank you for taking the time to watch my videos enough to come up with that.

On another note i really liked to finally see the green skins. I mean do i need to go into detail y their so badass & awesome? I just wanted to say how i really like the lore behind the Iron Jaws with having that freedom of individuality & no one being ruled over or governed. A like interesting fact ppl should know since those bastards took proper grammar out of the schools so we rnt taught this, but government means to "control the mind." The Latin roots of the word shows this, also funny they also went from the pound to the dollar the exact same day they took grammar out so the masses will become illiterate. I found this out the same time i learned y our license, passport & most importantly our birth certificates r spelt in all caps. The reasons is to trick u threw grammatical deception so that when they give u the birth certificate u unknowingly sing urself over to the Vatican as private property of their corporation. & this makes u a slave on their ships as a citizen on our citizenship. Not only that but it means on paper by the law, their law we dont exist as individuals with souls as everyone thinks over believing the lies they tell us like our rights, choice in politics & freedom & all that. Pope Boniface the 8th created the Unum Sanctum Trust making our inslavement threw trickery legal by law. The system they created & the law is in Roman Latin text, witch means Dog Latin that happens to b the text our birth certificate & license is in has no correspondence with the law. Dog Latin means "for the illiterate" for ppl who canr read... dumb ppl. Not do they inslave us in this unforgivable why, but they mock us all while doing so spelling our name in a text for illiterate dumb ppl. Our names by law would b spelt in Roman Latin text to b considered a individual with a soul, but its not ppl. Roman Latin "NAME-NAME" Dog Latin "NAME NAME" & ppl dont realize the real meaning of words that they aka The Hidden Hand the Jesuits who control everything use against us. & they wont for this very reason in school, so home schooling must have a come back if all schools teaching is lies & worthless crap unfortunate but true. Great break down of this on vid utuber " shaking my head" tittle of vid "uv been tricked into consent" Anyways i got wrapped up in that & had to finish explaining once mentioned this huge evil trick they pulled on us. I like ur content brother & i dont know u, but from what iv seen ur good ppl. I also took the time to get this out there to u & ur viewers, cuz ppl must know. I mean they do this to us & dont even think we deserve to know? Well u they do actually cuz thise evil ass ppl think we're dead expendable slaves who r their property. & by law their evil sinister law makes us exactly that on paper. I do want to make this any longer, so spread the word brothers & sisters to ppl to everyone u know so we can all come together & take our freedom back. We r all individuals with souls & this is unacceptable i dont even need to mention it. But they apparently do, & really by all rights they all earned to get wiped out. I wish this wasn't ture, but it is & its so sad & everyone should feel angry beyond measure over this act witch is pure evil. U the man brother, & there's something i give to u for to show my thanks as well as 1 person to another cuz keeping this from the ppl is a crime.
