Epson ET-8550, or L8180 printer - Opening the box and initial setup

I have recently bought an EPSON EcoTank ET-8550 or also called L8180 on some markets. It can print maximum A3+ size (13" x 19" or 330 x 480mm) photographic images from sheet paper, or 13 x 80" (330 x 2000 mm) from roll paper. This is just an "opening the box and printer initialisation" video, not really about the use of it. I will post other videos regarding how to use the printer and will show some prints.

Thank you for the feedback. It's a nice printer, now a half year after I started using it I am still happy with it. Don't forget to get all the updates. I received a new firmware and new software yesterday and installed them.

Can I use this printer with its original ink for sublimation ?

I am not an expert on sublimation, but I think not. There are some CZcams videos showing how to convert, so I guess they know.

You should ask that from Epson, I have no answer and honestly, it doesn't really matter. It's their decision to use different model names on some markets.

Das ist ja schon mal falsch. Zuerst kommt die Farbe in die Tanks und dann erst Strom!!!! Bei Geräten mit Fax Funktion ist es umgekehrt.

I don't know what you mean, what is wrong and what has my video got to do with a fax???? The printer does not have any fax function, you sound very confused. Have you been smoking something which you shouldn't???
