Continental makes the best quality belts. Good choice there. Thanks for showing us the plant....and you are correct...it may look daunting to a newbie.....but the process is very simple. Great video as always
We can request any parts but what we get is up to procurement, Thanks Jason, enjoying your videos 👊👍
Good camera shots thanks for taking us along for the ride
Glad you enjoyed
Interesting stuff, thanks, Subcool!
Thanks Steve, appreciate you!
Thanks for the great explanation on the water circuit! 3.1 k subs!
Thanks, I appreciate all the support 💯👊
I love the sound of a screw in the morning! lol. I had a temporary air cooled chiller on a trailer in front of my building for nearly a year while my hvac plant was reconstructed, and you could clearly hear those compressors from across a busy 4 lane blvd mid day. Total screamers!
Ha, they do sound nice starting up but after that get the plugs out 🎧 Thanks for commenting 👍
Great video as always!
Hey Dan 👊 Thanks, hope all is well!
Thanks for the video SC. I thought it always rained in Florida, on and off every 5 mins 😂
It rains a lot especially Summer but we pay for this weather down here 😎
Great skillset
👍👍 Thanks Silentonevictor !!
Nice work Subcool.
Hey Steven 👍👍
Great Video. Thank you for sharing. What is cooling tower, Does cooling tower work in winter ? Does cooling tower generate heat in winter ?
The cooling tower works year round here, it removes conducted heat (transferred to water) from the condenser barrel and in this tower conduction/ convection and evaporation complete the heat transfer.🔄🔥💦💨
Right on, man
Thanks jonnymac 👍
It’s very cool to watch you. Do what you do. I learn a lot just by watching keep it up.
Thanks for watching 👍
nice!
Thanks Perryraybuck 👍
My man subcooler
Thanks HEFTLEFTY 👊
How do I get a start on becoming a chiller tech? Im currently doing light commercial HVAC/R and I have my universal EPA, No other licensing.
I started with a journeyman license and Universal EPA. 👍 check out The Chiller Guys channel
Hey I'm curious to know , i didn't see a decoupling tank between primary and secondary?
It’s there over the other Secondary pump near the MCC , Thanks for asking 👍
Do you have any pump/motor alignment videos?
Check out this video 👍 czcams.com/video/4r1TwC62kKU/video.htmlsi=rDdNEkn-GvPV7VZR
YR stands for why are you still running this chiller.
Water cooler chillers get replaced around 20yr here 👍
Hi Subcool, Can you explain why big boxstore like Walmart and Home Depot use rooftop package units. I counted 9 units on the roof of Home Depot. Won't it be easier to use one chiller than multiple rooftop units. I would assume a single chiller would use less electricity than multiple roof units. Thanks....
My best guess comes down to cost to build and maintain, RTU’s are more practical for service leaving room below for more merchandise and uninterrupted business. Thanks for the question 👍
Thanks for your explanation, it makes a lot of sense. 🙂
So are you staff at this facility or a contractor?
Long term Contracted employee, also state licensed contractor 👍
Stupid question here 🤚🏽. What heats the building?
They have electric heaters in the ductwork or at the VAV’s depending on the building application. AC is used mostly here. Thanks for asking!
That is so cool! I can't wait to move up to these monster units one day. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
@@Menik559👍 There’s plenty of work out there, all the best!
