Nice on those cuts! I just ordered a SC1000 mk2. Can't wait to get it. Does it take long to get used to the size? I'll be making my own scratch sounds with my analogue synths:)
I think the device perfectly serves its purpose as an extremely portable scratch device. Only gripe is it would be nice to have a spinning disk instead of trying to reset where your marker is, but at the same time, I get that the device is not meant for that. I can see this expanding into a multi feature device, but in general, really cool. In regards to innovation between juggling and scratching, scratching is the only aspect of djing that I have seen as gotten much more technical and innovative since the golden years. Juggling has been dead for a long time.
Mad skills :D I can't control that crossfader like that even if you pay me :D I can mimic what you're doing with the cross fader with the left hand though, I believe it's called baby scratch? I can baby scratch those triples like a boss, but can't cut this fast :D Any tips?
Thank you! I bought a mini flight case and then just modded it a bit so it opened fully, then added some foam inside, if you check my instagram I had a post on how i did it
The fader cuts on both sides, the crossfader only cuts the scratch sample, the beat just plays continuously, in the USB stick you have folders for beats and scratches, only the files in the scratch folder are manipulated by the platter
Is this fake? It seems fake to me. I have heard some of those exact same scratches over the exact same beats before and some missing hand movements in a few spots, This video is real sus to me.
@@pj.bridger @0:45 it sounded like the end of a scratch when no hand was touching the platter. But now that I watched it again I realize it might just have been the way the video was edited. And the first scratch sounds like an attempted copy of the scratches on "Bear Witness" (Dr Octagon and DJ Qbert) and now that I listen a second time it for sure is not QBert's scratches. Sorry, I think I messed up. So much fakery going on online I think I jumped the gun on my assumption. I sincerely apologize. :)
@@chrustycoonbade3849 that’s ok, yep it is the same scratch sounds on the doctor octagon beat because I found the original scratch sounds q-Bert used, I also made the instrumental out of the original haha
ideas are great from a dj tech point of view but i just dont get what actual application this would be suitable for. making something just because you can doesnt make it actually worth doing.
I think you mean the DJ2 GO2 Touch? I also have one of those, this is not a toy man, its the only turntable this size you can scratch on, and its not a controller, you dont plug it in to anything to control
@@pj.bridger Yeah, I used the word scratch so that you know I'm not talking about the older model. This is most definitely a controller. It doesn't play records. Unlike the Numark, this is a gimmick, meaning that it has little value in real world applications.
My cat will be the slickest DJ around bro. DJ Whiskers on the 1 and 2s
Maaaaan that lil case is amazing!

Not really, but I guess it depends how much scratching you have done before
@@pj.bridger yeah, I'm good with it now. Scarily prefer it to a real turntable 😬
sick, I really need to get off the couch and grab a sc500
They are pretty dope! 😁
O M Cheeeezzzz whata device! 8

what is the height of the Sc 500 ...I try to find a case before it arrive ! ..Nice case man !
Can you share how you made this and would it be possible to make it even smaller?

Thank you 👊 just practice, practice, practice
Babies is a good start , there are plenty of cross fader tricks , transform, chirps , flares , one click flares , two click flares … look them up
Thats Awesome How did you make this!?!
Thank you! I bought a mini flight case and then just modded it a bit so it opened fully, then added some foam inside, if you check my instagram I had a post on how i did it
👍😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
How did you get the samples on the right ?
Is there a way to reverse the fader or did you just drop the samples into the beats folder ?
The fader cuts on both sides, the crossfader only cuts the scratch sample, the beat just plays continuously, in the USB stick you have folders for beats and scratches, only the files in the scratch folder are manipulated by the platter
How do you get one cuz they always out of stock
Muito bom saber disso
Does this have sounds built into it or what
Dr Octagon rules
yessir
is there possible to get it for cheaper?
Where can I buy this?
I need this case fam. Where did u get it
I made it, if you go on my Instagram you can see the exact one I got, it took a little bit of modding the hinges to make it open all the way
@@pj.bridger thanks dude I'll take a look. Make some more videos man. I wanna see em!
Where could I find a case like that ?
I made the case out of a small flightcase, if you look on my instagram i put a link to the item i used
sold out, sold out, and sold out
Do you have any for sale?
Internet is your friend, just type "mini flight case" and scroll for a while
Then cut the foam inside to your convenience

where to buy please

What is this? A turntable for ants??? hahaha
It’s actually for hobbits 😜
What is this a controller i guess
It is a little portable scratching turntable, you load on beats and scratches and away you go!
It be even smaller when I take my bat and repeatedly hit it to pieces
why so angry
Finally a "me-size" table I can scratch with my little-ass nuts!: czcams.com/video/qJeWJtzdhM0/video.html Future DMC Champion!

If it was fake I would hope that the scratching would have been better 😂😂

It’s suitable for taking on holiday in your bag so you can have a scratch at the beach 🏖
@@pj.bridger in the baking sun? with a vinyl record? think again.
There is no vinyl on it……..
Maybe you don’t quite know what this is, go and look up portablism, that will probably help a bit
Seems pretty sensible to me if you want to make your own scratch samples and practice on the go.
i looked this up....big $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$, no thanks
What an absolute waste of technology.
It's not a turntable...it's a controller.
I have the Numark DJ2 GO SCRATCH. This is just an overpriced gimmicky toy.
