Building the Starlet model sailboat part 1.

nee sorry heb er nog maar 1 en de rest verkocht als ik er weer 1 bouw dan maak ik er zeker een film van er staat voor volgend jaar een 2 master op de planner

Hello, Tip: just begin with a simple boat like this one. Do not begin with small stips of wood as planking for the hull.

i think it is 2, maybe 3 mm.

Where did you get them? I could only find 5 mm for my first boat. Way too heavy.

I don't know. As i remember it's birch ply. Very light.

Lower the guide on that band saw (0:26). It will cut more accurately. Nothing is more fun to build than a boat. I'm building a Naples Sabot. There's lots of videos on them.

I'm glad to see kids building model boats instead of playing video games. But why why why would you videotape a kid using a bandsaw with the blade guard 6 in above the work? Teach the kid how to properly use the tools and then videotape them. And then he walks away from the band saw and leaves it running! I hope these kids still have all their fingers today.
