- Building the Starlet model sailboat. This time we sailed a bit. But unfortunately the sheeting of one of the sailboats is not good. At home we will make this much better i hope. Because one of the lines is running of the drum now.
As you will notice, the sailboat with the white sails is not sailing very well.
Vervolg van de bouw van de Starlet zeilboten. Nu konden we een beetje zeilen. Zoals te zien, staan de zeilen nog niet optimaal, maar daar wordt aan gewerkt. Soms lopen de lijnen van de winch af.
Sorry for the poor sound because of the wind.

Great job guys. I always wanted to build one of these boats when I was younger and just never got around to it. It's neat to see them sailing.
Thank you for your advice! We will adjust the sails and boomss etc. I had no experience with this type of model making. But we are learning.

Yes, it's very nice to build and sail your own boat.
Good work, great effort, well done. Consider adding a boom vang to stiffen those main sheets.
oh, well done boys ! wonderful effort and results - now comes the fun part, tuning and
adjusting the boats so they sail real good. on the boat with red sails, next time out, try NOT to have the jib boom in so close to the centerline of the boat -I think it will sail better with more space between the main and jib ( that's called "the slot") try it and see !

they came out rather great' where can I get the plan's for them at ? you didn't show how to make the sail's or what you used for them...
