Our son Wim is restoring a Shetland Speedwell because he wants to go fishing at sea.......

De schilderleraar op de LTS had veel liefde voor zijn vak. Ik mocht ook graag reclame schilderen. Als hobby houden wij ons daar zo nu en dan nog mee bezig. Advertising painting as a hobby. A teacher learned us to paint advertisements. I liked that kind of work. As a hobby for long winter evenings we paint now and then.

Work in progress - The skeg is made clean. Steel plates are removed. Cavities are exposed.

We have made a start to remove the wooden insert of the skeg.

I used a new spray gun for the top sides of this Centaur sailboat. And a Laser Liner was bought for making water lines and, i hope, for carpentry work in our Dufour 35. We will find out later.............
