    Hands down, the best painting tutorial i've watched. I had NO idea what I was doing prior to watching this, now i've designed 3 cars tonight. Thanks for putting together a great tutorial.

      Glad I could help, I honestly put it together for some people in my league but am glad some others found it helpful!

    awesome man - can't wait to test this out for my paints and cool stuff!! just don't like having to pay for Photoshop but i've spent my hard-earned $ on much worse things

      Well you can match your scheme in iRacing (on the website or UI) to match the colors and general scheme for people you race against that don't use Trading Paints.

    good tutorial helped me a lot, just wondering how what’s the best way to mirror stuff from one side to the other, and also on how to create your own “shapes” and lines etc

      I will create an addition tutorial here in the next week or so with some of the requests people have had

    Hey man, I’m having issues figuring out how to apply logos. I saw what tool you used, what did you click to paste it over?

    • @JonHonaker
      @JonHonaker  Před 2 lety +1

      When you have the logo opened in a separate file I'll press 'control+c' to copy it and then 'control+p' will paste it

    How do you create custom logos in photoshop then move them into your car?

    • @JonHonaker
      @JonHonaker  Před 3 lety

      Are you talking about creating a logo for a business by hand and putting it on the car or using an existing logo for example Mountain Dew, and placing it on the car?

      I'm sorry I somehow missed this comment, CZcams isn't the best at alerting you.
      Did you figure this out? Ultimately you need to upload to a program called Trading Paints and have that running in the background.

    I cant get the live updated files, i put the targa file into the car and it doesnt seem to use that livery

      Are you talking about the 3d car viewer found within the UI?

    • @JonHonaker
      @JonHonaker  Před 3 lety

      Are you trying to view the car in the UI? If so which car? You essentially need to save the tga in the correct file and name format. car_driveridnum.tga is the file format where you enter you iracing id number instead

    What part is the splitter to color on?

    • @JonHonaker
      @JonHonaker  Před 3 lety +1

      Unfortunately the splitter itself cannot be painted on the Cup Series car, you can however paint a line around the bottom of the front bumper to try and mimic it.
