    EVs will only get more expensive and the majority of drivers will never be able to buy one. Their second-hand value will also be a big problem as buyers will be concerned that expensive battery replacements will make them worthless.

    I live in a town in North Yorkshire, Sunaks constituency. 2 years ago I email my council asking when and where some public chargers would be fitted. Was told 10 chargers, 4 in the town and 6 more around the area. Still waiting for them. Emailed them again and never even got a reply. The delay has doubled the cost of installation according to a minutes of a meeting that was held. Is there any wonder people are reluctant to make the change, even if they could afford it.

It has a very nice interior with Nappa leather, heated seats and steering wheel, with massage function. A very nice 10 speaker Bose sound system. And a class leading auto pilot. • @stephencollins7714
      @stephencollins7714 Před rokem +1

      @@Diongreco The Q7 has much longer service intervals and has been cheaper to maintain. it has been averaging around 35mpg and the XC40 (B4) under 30. Also the difference in price between Petrol and Diesel has only grown unjustifiably large quite recently. Personally I do not think Petrol is a good choice for large cars, Diesel works much better. Both are to be banned at the same time so I do not think people should be pushed into buying Petrol unless their use case means that they will encounter DPF related issues. The Q7 vs XC40 example was perhaps not the best, if you compared Q7 Petrol to Diesel or XC40 Petrol to Diesel I think it would even more convincing.
