  • Thanks to drunkenlullabiy for pointing this out. It turns out that with it, Bruce Wayne can score more than twice of what Batman can score with the same map.
    I wasnt originally going to make anymore Bruce Wayne combat videos but after trying out the Shuriken Group Takedown [Kujiki Bomb in combat mode], I found it so useful that I felt compelled to do a vid about it.
    Since it is not a special combo move, you can use it any time. It is especially useful in the start of a round when you are most vulnerable. Use it to build up your combo to get a special combo move sooner.
    You can also use it right after a special combo move to quickly get another special combo move. The catch is, you can only use it 3 times per round.
    Or, to play it safe, you can immediately use it 3 times to quickly get into freeflow focus mode. You should at least be able add 3 to your combo meter with each use and up to 5 on some occasions. After that, you should be able to get into freeflow focus within two strikes.

    Bruce Wayne's Shuriken Volley gives him that middle multiplier of 20. Whereas his Shuriken Group Takedown only gives him a middle multiplier of 10.
    The opposite is true of Batman. His Bat Swarm gives him a middle multiplier of 10, where as his Multi-ground takedown gives him a middle multiplier of 20.

    Great video! Makes me want to play the game again. I didn't know you could get double the amount of points from the Armoured Enforcers if you punch off their armour.

      Thanks! Punching off his armor with a beatdown certainly helps... around an additional 30 for the combo meter. However, those combo points still need to be cashed in with a lot of shuriken volleys.
      It is a very risky approach because WB didnt properly tweak the attack priority, which is, if there are other guys behind or around the Armored Enforcer, they will be hit instead of the Enforcer. That is true with both Bruce Wayne and Batman. It is very frustrating with large groups of enemies.
      The Titans and Lieutenants in AC always get the attack priority and never had trouble there. I really miss Rocksteady!

    Best method is to start off with a kujiki bomb, build your combo up to freeflow mode, knock down a few then perform another kujiki bomb to perform a multi ground takedown and get the variation bonus and the last one you wanna do when they're all standing up to get the best combos

    Great video mate. I didn't know that you can beat the armoured guy after using the kujuki bomb. The only thing frustrates me is the knife dodge take down. For some reason I cannot do it properly. I did succeed few times most of times it end up losing the perfect round. I can dodge but cannot do the take down. I know you play on PC and I play on PS3, but if you do a tip video on this, it would be helpful. I can see many videos but they are not helpful! Cheers mate.

      Thanks! The Kujiki bomb actually helped push away and temporarily stun the enemies, giving me barely enough time to Ultra stun the Armored Enforcer. But this is quite a risky approach [as described by the post below].
      The blade dodge takedown is actually a timing skill that happen behind the scenes. It is very difficult to demonstrate on a video. I was bad at doing this initially as well. Although it was pretty clear to me to quickly release and hold back down the counter button, it was still difficult to do... until I stopped button mashing and got precise with the controls.
      Once I started timing my strikes [NOT to press the attack button until the after the last attack has completed - One button press, one attack or counter], I automatically got good at blade dodge takedowns.
      I actually started playing AC on the PS3 and then moved to the PC and its really no different. Once you get good at timing it will work anywhere. Hope this helps

    You make it seem easy... I can barely defend myself from a treacherous knife attack if I'm turned backwards or even sideways fighting other guys.
    And the maximum I achieved with that Bruce Wayne with the 4 rounds? 20k. That's right, 10 time less than you :D

      Hey Good to hear from ya. Its been a while. Thought you've quit Bman or something. Yeah go for it. Bruce is a lot of fun

    • @GhostMotley
      @GhostMotley Před 10 lety

      Never quit, just took a break (played other games like AC4 and Skyrim, that and I was also waiting fot them to fix the bugs in Arkham Origins) I got the Initiation pack and Bruce Wayne is the best character to play as, while he may be abit underpowered he makes up for it in speed and agility.

    • @billa5830
      @billa5830  Před 10 lety

      Thats great. Skyrim is an awesome game isnt it? With all the ongoing mods, it seems like it never ends.
      Have you seen the recent press release from Warner Montreal. They will just focus on the next DLC and not fix any bugs right now... which I take it to mean they will no longer fix any bugs in AO. Frankly, I am quite disappointed with them. There are a lot of combat bugs, the most obvious being a dysfunctional critical strike, which I completely relied on to build a high combo in AC. Its also one of the reasons I stopped playing AO.

    • @GhostMotley
      @GhostMotley Před 10 lety

      Bill A Arkham Origins has so many bugs and the combat is so glitchy, you will randomly lose combos when you did nothing wrong and the combat feels so different, when they first released Origins I liked the combat more then City. But after all the ''patches'' they have released the combat feels broken and glitches. RockSteady should have never let WB Games Montreal make it.

    • @billa5830
      @billa5830  Před 10 lety

      Yeah no kiddin' the patches did seem to introduce more bugs than fix them. I dont know if its just me, combat was faster initially and after a few patches, the game slowed down.
