- If Dylan Tooby "knows everything" why isn't he a professional footballer ? Someone called me out on CZcams and asked if Dylan Tooby is so good at football why isn't he a professional footballer and why should I listen to him instead of other professional footballers?

1) Location matters. Where you live doesn't make it impossible but it definitely can make it more difficult to become a professional footballer
2) Age is important. In order to become a professional footballer you need to go after your dreams at the right age. 16 - 21 are crucial years in your professional football career.
3) Being good enough doesn't mean you'll become a professional footballer. You have to go out and get yourself a chance to make it. No one is going to hand it to you.
4) Believe you can do it. Ask all professional footballers they would never have made it to the big leagues if they didn't truly believe in their ability to make it.

So there are 4 teams in my soccer group and United is the worst premier is medium and elite black is 2nd best and elite orange is best...... So I went from United and barely holding on to that team. Ive been following Dylan for a few years now,im now 40 years old and learning from dylan has improved my game so i can teach my son,ive been teaching my lad who now 14 who has dyspraxia(balance and coordination) and autism.Hes now a technical tacticianer. I now have more knowledgeable know how than i did 3 years ago.For me now i would say mental attidude is the way for kids to improve and learning techniques to put in your tool box for your job.

Teaching and playing are different gifts. Dylan, the only resume you ever need is your views and subscriptions, and it isn't from fancy production, it's from teaching. Block out all hate and keep it up my brother.
Don't listen to that weirdo that said you're fake. Cause you're not. In 7th grade I suck so bad. I try out for my school soccer team in 7 grade and I got cut. So I found your videos. I've watched some of them and they got me better through out the summer. So when I came back from summer vacation I try out for my school team in 8th grade. Because of you I made it so thank you.

I'm filipino soccer player ..I was varsity before ,I played once in national game during my college days..for me soccer is a passion and you don't need to become professional in that field..for us mostly in Philippines soccer is just a passion and game not a carrier or proffession but we're enjoying it..god bless you brother..

Dylan I've always been a fan of your videos and your coaching and I've even bought your lessons before. Your lessons have taught me more than just being a better soccer player it taught me to become a better person. I used to want to be a professional soccer player until I realized that wasn't reallyy my biggest passion even though I still love it and want to be the best that i can be. However, the advice that you gave us in this video I will apply it in my life to become what I really want to be and that is to be a professional musician. Altogether what I mean to say is your advice is helpful for anyone not just soccer players so thank you and keep doing what you do!

Hey, Dylan! I Started watching your CZcams videos around christmas... After the first coupple of vids i watched, I got so motivated and started training to both lose weight and on my abilities as a soccer player. Now after around four months, i have lost 28 pounds and I am now playing for the A team in my city, and at the time i started watching you, i was playing on u15s. So I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the amazing videos you make and all the effort you put in to it just to make others better! Tbh, the world needs more people like you! There's so many pro team players in pro leagues that would benefit from watching your vids man. So many "pros" who still have room for a growth but they settle for where they're at.
Good advice Toby. I believe the some of the best players are the ones we've never seen. They never gave themselves the chance. Let time slip by. Anyway keep up the good work and keep dropping knowledge. Cuz last time I checked I didn't Messi or Ronaldo trying to help the young players out there.

Fair play Dylan. I am 47 & I only started working n my left side a few years ago. Man, how it changed me, suddenly you have SPACE, your dribbling is almost unnecessary because you have so much SPACE & TIME. Also, quite strangely, I prefer my left now for passing, shooting etc. I think the weaker foot when trained, is like a dumb obedient servant that never lets you down. But you can always tell a guys strong foot by how he dribbles under crisis. I wish I could hit the ball straight with my stronger foot, & I'm still pursuing this elusive goal. I believe the Eureka moment will come in managing the back & the degree of uplift, we'll see. Kudos Dylan, there is such beauty in your humility. PS, when i was young i trained with plastic ball & didn't grasp at that time so much difference with match ball. Now there is no such gulf between cheap training balls & match balls.

he's totally right plus in Canada it's hard to become a soccer player because it's not a soccer based country.. we recently started getting better soccer with tfc and that only started 5 years ago. I recently started following you 3 days ago because I was looking to get back in shape to play soccer at high level again I was really good when I was younger I'm only 23 and I had many opportunities to become a soccer player if I took those steps unfortunatelyI didn't push for it and I regret it alot, after a while I lost the drive until recently when I started playing back this summer at a high level (CSL) and got goal of the week, now I want to push myself to get a chance to be a professionall I probably won't get it cause I'm older now but it's worth a shot and plus I hate not being as good as I was because I'm under fit and I love your videos so far so keep it up cause you inspire me to be better :)

These kinds of videos are great for me(motivational and exercises, etc.), even though I play ultimate frisbee and for others who do not even play football/soccer. Keep it up, Dylan! Also, one question, I am thinking about playing just rec soccer, do you think these videos would help me, because if help can a young, aspiring soccer player watches your videos and does these things, then everyone can (like you said, if you put your mind to it.)
