- What does it take to become a professional football player and can anyone do it? Today we talk to Nick Humphries from Train Effective who gave up everything he had and tried to become a professional football player. That's an outlandish dream in itself but Nick tried to accomplish becoming a professional football player in 100 days. He left his home in Australia, quit his well paying job, left family and friends behind to pursue his dream of becoming a professional football player. He wanted to emulate the success of the likes of Jaime Vardy who also began his life as a professional football player at a relatively late period of his life. The goal was to get a professional contract in 100 days but while he might not have succeeded in becoming a professional football player in that short amount of time, the learnings he got along the way he hopes will aspire young football players to pursue their goals and achieve their dreams.

That’s such a childish way of thinking. The fact of the matter is that most people’s dreams will never come true. Don’t you think it’s better to actually focus on a good career and to leave something for your family then to focus on a sport when less than 0.5% of people succeed?

make dua night and day and never give up. Allah told the sick prophet to get up and drink from the water to he healed. Allah could have healed him without drinking water but why did He say that? Because we should make some efforts on our own too so that Allah can help us
Don't forget to use underpants like bennacer to conceal your awrah.
Also don't say inshaAllah when making dua, say like "Allah will make me into a professional player" cause you need to have full confidence that Allah will grant you it and if you make dua for someone else then you can add ameen at the end.

It’s amazing however he got kicked off the team in a couple of days as he has no technical skill just fitness and had made it into Pandurii where he played as a CB and actually did pretty well, he played for Chemsford as a striker but was horrible and had no technique or skill

The one thing people forget is that football is not about how many keepy ups you can do. It’s about your thought process on the pitch, it’s about losing and having the attitude to know that no matter where you are, if you impress your manager could ask a scout to come watch.
Do a video with Matt Sheldon from Become Elite. He also has a similar story but his lead to an actual pro contract. His story is very motivational.
Should've probably done it with Matt Sheldon (Become Elite). He's been through a lot and I believe he has a better mind frame on the matter of being a professional. Cuz I'm pretty sure this was the guy that blamed everyone for football being corrupt.

1: be patient
2 be confidence to yourself

This is really inspirational for me, I am 23 now but have fallen in love with football. I have played in uni, not because I was incredible but because I was dedicated and worked hard, and now that I am about to graduate I want to play professionally. Its wonderful to see you following your dream. Even I wanna be pro football player.. I'm 32 age.. Working in a call centre but this is not really what I wanna do. I do weight four times a week and running sprinting n other stuff twice a week but seems its no enough. I imagine myself playing on a football field and getting awarded for that. I was puzzled, where to start from. So I found video here.. This is a first step for me. I'm not quitting. Carry on mate. Gods in control.

I strongly suggest you pick Matt Sheldon from Become Elite next time. He is more real than this dude. He shows you the struggles, the injuries, he motivates you, and best of all, he doesn't blame anyone. You know why? Because HE had made it, not Nick. Matt has a lot more experience and has the right mentality for becoming a great footballer, not Nick! No offense Unisport, but pick wisely next time.

Yes but soccer is curropt and it's sad because I have missed alot opportunities to become much better but since my parents couldn't afford $1,000 a year for me to be on a preimere team I couldn't play... I really want to become a Profesional Football player and I wanna play for Mexico Women’s National football team but the thing is that I get judged so much because one day I was at my soccer game and i heard this lady say “wow she is a walking stick” I stared crying and looked at my arms because my arms are the only thing that are skinny. I eat so much and I don’t get fat. Then I was at soccer practice one of my teammates hates me and she told me that I was hesitating and we were playing a game and another one of my teammates the one that people say she is so good got mad at me and told me I sucked just because I didn’t shoot a goal or past it to her then my enemy told me that I suck at soccer and that I would never make it to be a professional soccer player but I don’t listen to them but the thing that really bothers me is how skinny my arms are I hate it that’s why I eat a lot and I won’t get fat😭⚽️and also my coach always puts me on defense and I really want to be forward so I can get better at soccer well I hope you guys Follow your dreams don’t listen to those people who say you can’t make it cause you will no matter what just be patient your day will come💛

Train effective is Lowkey a scam but a great idea. Nick wants make money off this and he hates corruption yet he is making people pay to play. Also Nick wanted to train ONLY with Pro teams NEVER EVER considered playing with lowers teams or training with them. Such as Sheldon Tweddie who is right now playing with Crowley Town u23 team (pro) and came from Australia too. He just had better connections, always positive, determined, fan base that helped him get a try out, and hunger.
I love the first part of the 100 day challenge which was motivation. But those days you could’ve also been training with lowers tier clubs that cost you big time. Sorry nick

when i was 16 i was training with u 18 team Canada..i got caught up in the wrong crowd and stopped playing, it eats at me everyday thinking about where i could have been if i would have stayed with it.. all my close friends and family believe in me and tell me to start training again but its hard to get that belief back, futbol is the only thing that makes me truly happy :( I'm 24 now
