One of the best Dhalsim players in the East coast his match up knowledge, the way he utilizes Dhalsim offensive tools with a solid defensive game this will be a tough match for Solid.
The most stylish Ryu player I've even seen! This Ryu player in terms of style is is a league of his own.

Regardless of so-called character-advantage, let us review this Dhalsim's move being always constantly neat. In most cases, Dhalsim players will lose control when being dragged into adverse situation, but obviously not this one. How solid outputs he has created. You deserve my applause.

Everytime Arturo wins I was excited because it means I get to hear Ryu's theme instead of Dhalsim's theme! I love watching Arturo play!

One of ryus toughest matchups...but I learned a lot from watching wax and other top ryu and tried to add it into my own ryu play

He is not new to me. He is new to the channel and Yoga has great viewers who appreciate the players he chooses to upload. Stop the bitterness or jelousness and enjoy the video! Its SABIN for crying out loud!!! How often do you see his Sim in a ft5? Thats something to appreciate. If you dont like the attention one person is getting then dont watch the video that person is in.

Art has gone game for game with the best Ryu's in the world, this guy obviously wasn't going to be much of a problem.
Does anyone has advice for WA? ^^ I just can't figure out what went wrong. He seemed to do what was necessary. Even so it seems like he's completely dominated..

Some good stuff by Solid. Overall a bit impatient. But against Arturo this is a super hard matchup for any Ryu.

As a ryu player this match up is tough but I like it. it's weird. just need a lot of patience. I almost beat Arturo too. he won by a sliver of life.
Who is this guy xWAx Solid? Does he play in tournaments? Which name does he go by? Or is he just an online player?
GGs to Arturo - in fact, shoutouts to TeamSpooky, as guys like Min show us nothing but love when we hit up Tourneys. As for the set, both guys played well, but sadly ours didn't win. TBH, this was a difficult position for Solid because, Win or lose, he was going to get flamed; yet he went ahead and played it out. As has been the case in many of WA's past failures, Solid will take the L for now, but instead of hanging his head in shame, he'll learn from this and use it to fuel him to greatness.
this could be an awesome match up. It becomes great if the ryu remains patient
WoW I like how people seem to FORGET that GREAT players actually do LOSE from time to time. WA Solid did his best, hes a great player and not to mention going up against a veteran Dhalsim.

Solid held his own against one of the top 5 sim players in the world. he lost 5-1 against someone who has beat some of the best Ryu players in the world (most notable Daigo). Knowing him personally , im not surprised by the outcome of this match because he still gets nervous playing against top players. He just turned 18 a few months ago and has played all of the best players in NY at next level and done well against them in and out of tournament. Is he Daigos level yet? NO! but hes growing

Solid has excelent execution, he can simply switch characters and make the matchup more easier. You are saying that he is mediocre because he didnt overcome the matchup wow I am simply amazed. If I remember correctly Daigo got also bodied by Arturo, but once he switched to Yun the flow of the match was totally different.

I really wish you guys would look past the "6-4" er "7-3" matchup thing and really analyze the very smart tactics this Dhalsim is doing, not just "oooooh Dhalsim wins this matchup!" This Dhalsim is seriously really FUCKING SMART. 3.2k PP my fucking asshole. That fucker is amazing.

When Ryu player gets in- he doesn't go to work- he's solid but he needs to have a plan every time he gets in- watch some of Daigo's matches against Art. Good set non-the-less.
Dhalsim is one of Ryu's worst match-ups, arguably THE worst. As long as Dhalsim can keep Ryu out, Dhalsim can answer almost everything Ryu has. Sabin did a good job on doing just that.
he's Arturo Sanchez, the guy featuring in the salty runback with Daigo. he probably doesn't play online much. PP is not a good measure for skill.

Ryu vs dhalsim is close to a 5-5 match up now. Worst it can get is 5.5-4.5 in dhalsim favor. Jump tatsumaki is good against dhalsim and to close the distance

Playing a good Sim is probably one of the most frustrating SF4 experiences. You just wanna rage and rush in to get owned some more.

fail, I never said this Solid guy was MEDIOCRE, I clearly said he was just A+ online player, the reference with Daigo, was that I didn't see this guy beating Arturo or Fchamp, something Daigo has done, and also the only reason I brought Daigo into this was 'cause there were some comments on some of the other videos, about how this guy might just be better than Daigo, I personally asked Yoga that I wanted to see him against a good Adon,Sim or Fei just to see what he'd do.
Daigo has trouble with this matchup too, so saying that WA Solid is outclassed by a better player isn't really a good argument.
People talking shit about Arturo because of the matchup. HES BETTER THEN SOLID! Fact. Hes more experience and his Dhalsim isnt as good as it used to be but its still godlike. Solid is good but he has a long way to go compared to tournament OGs
Solid can get good matchup experience from. Next time the results would be different. He was a bit too impatient this time.
Just cause he lost one doesn't mean he sucks, this is a hard matchup, watch daigo vs sabin or daigo vs Filipino champ and u can see its a steep climb for ryu
i agree with @kismejon. he can do stuff to appeal to the fans but he wanted to get in too badly. this matchup is a pain for ryu. and lag didnt seem like a factor at all
