Battle Shark In first and second grade, some dudes in my school were super into star wars (the clone wars, atleast) and THEY didn't even know anakin was to become darth vader later on.
This was my kids - they have constantly heard that "I am your father line" not to know what was coming .... However the pure joy we saw on my daughters face when we were watching LOTR and she realizes that Gandalf was still alive - wish we caught it on camera.
I share your feelings, but if she was told to sit tight and watch the movie without making a peep, she would lose interest and probably resent the movie. Gotta let kids be kids.

I had the good fortune to be a 12 year old when the first movie came out, and when watching this scene in the 2nd film in theaters, the entire (fully packed) theatre of people gasped loudly. It was amazing! The whole experience was amazing

I don't mind people asking questions. I love discussing movies. BUT, I like discussing the movie AFTER the movie has finished. I am one of those people that absolutely hates when people talk and ask questions as the movie is taking place and they miss dialog or other details. I don't know how many times I have had to rewind the movie and tell the person "listen to the movie and maybe you will find out".

Ugh, it's just seriously one of the greatest scenes in cinema history. Everything about it: the setting, the framing of the actors, the acting itself -- so over the top and wonderfully so. It's high drama. Iconic to the max.

saNMan PR Vlog Well, Star Wars isn't actually in 4K quality yet, so I don't know about that. Sure, maybe it has upscaling, but barring that, I'm gonna assume that it's just a very nice-looking HDTV. :)
You wouldn't see the difference on this CZcams video anyway. Even if the video itself is 4K (I can't tell on my screen), the TV only takes up a fraction of the image.

This made me happy, memories flood back of me at that age watching Star Wars for the first time in my room with a video I had rented out... Locked myself in my room and that was it. I came out a Jedi.
I recently did a marathon with my friends and we watched it in the order 4 5, 1 2 3 (for flashbacks) and then 6 to conclude it all. My friend even tho he knew about this infamous qoute from Vader , was still surprised reacted almost like Luke lol.

I don't mind people asking questions. I love discussing movies. BUT, I like discussing the movie AFTER the movie has finished. I am one of those people that absolutely hates when people talk and ask questions as the movie is taking place and they miss dialog or other details. I don't know how many times I have had to rewind the movie and tell the person "listen to the movie and maybe you will find out".
