  • If you ask: "Who is the richest church in the world?" the answer is Germany. This is because:
    1. High religious taxes on believers - as high as 8% to 9%.
    2. The church owns a large amount of church property worth tens of billions, including land, real estate, schools, hospitals, nursing homes, as well as various investments and corporate shares, including banks, publishing houses, etc.
    3. Personal donations, legacy gifts, foundation funding, etc.
Nowadays, the church in Germany has reached the point where "it has money but no money to spend" and needs to "find somewhere to spend money." Therefore, German churches are usually spacious, clean, tidy and neat. This feeling will appear once you enter a neighboring country.
The wealth of the Germans has directly affected the cultural tradition, which is the establishment of museums everywhere: small museums in small places, large museums in large places, and large cluster museums in the capital. Berlin has a "Museum Island" with five famous large museums. There are many famous paintings and sculptures in these museums that we are familiar with. But even so, I believe that the visitors will not be as endless and bustling as going to the market to buy food. Then the Germans must be operating at a loss. There is no way, rich people are willful.
Willfulness may be the unique character of wealthy people. But there must be a limit to willfulness. To have limits, there must be constraints. In any case, the only thing that restrains the comprehensive willfulness of the Germans is religion. According to the above statistics, only half of the total population can be restrained by religion. In this case, there is reason to believe that this half of the population of German believers may have some sage genes to a greater or lesser extent.
