    ****ALERT***💯💯💯 the same thing happened to me and my family. After my brother was sexually abused in a foster home. My brother kept running away from the home. EVERY time my brother countered law-enforcement he kept telling them about the abuse, they never took it serious. My brother suffered mental illness, several times attempting to take his own life with pills. A call to police which was falsely placed. Police came and shot and killed my brother without having a mental health, negotiator, which taxpayers money pay for, and non-lethal weapons, which is in police cruisers.💯💯💯 my brother had just turned 20 years old that year.. We were shown inside of a police cruiser by one of the officers, which was stated by the officer they have non-lethal weapons placed in every cruiser, which he showed to us, and verbally demonstrated how they’re used, yes it is a sense of defending yourself, but also in a non-lethal way, which is also paid by taxpayers money for them to use to preserve human life. Tasers that shoot out, rubber bullets that feels real, teargas, bullets, beanbag guns. So please do your homework.💯💯💯💯

    I feel bad for the family, but come on. What would you do in that situation? You get a call for a mental case is the first thing. You don't know what your walking into, dude obviously wasn't sitting calmly on the sofa. He had a knife and made threatening moves. You haven't searched and cleared the apartment yet and the subject is not secured. You shoot to stop. It's your life or theirs. Tell me you wouldn't do the same. I wanna go home at the end of my shift. Period...

    Can they use the teaser? Do they know your son? Why did you call 911 ? Why you did not help your son in different way? Calling 911 is the easiest but we all know how that can end 🤦🏼‍♀️ stop calling 911 as long as you don’t want lawsuits and money!

    I’m interested to hear the 911 call…. That will paint a better picture. “He wasn’t a threat to the public? So why did you leave the apartment and call 911 if your son wasn’t a threat!

    • @Matae2k
      @Matae2k Před měsícem +1

      That’s the point, he may or may not have been a threat to his family but was still confined to his apartment and not a public threat

      Umm … ok! But what about if he approached the police officer with that knife? Dad “they could of helped… they decided not to help” falls back on the family … seems like they decided to stop helping if it got to this point.

    The family saying the police should have done this or that.. mental illness is not a free pass to put other people’s lives in danger…. Besides if they really loved their family member why didn’t they help him,it’s not societies responsibility, family needs to step up, and help their so called loved one…

      That makes no sense. I can tell you luckily never had to deal with mental illness in your family. My cousin is schizophrenic, he once forced his sister by knifepoint to take him to the bank and take him to a hotel as he was believing that the neighbors were trying to gas them in their apartment. In that instance what would you expect her to do? It's easier to run your mouth than offer solutions. These parents are elderly, if their son has a weapon what do you expect them to do when you cannot legally put a person in a mental health facility if they do not want to go?

      Do you read what you write before you post it? Jesus christ Americans are so cooked. And to imply that the family wasn't "stepping up" and putting that burden on society is moronic and disgusting. I'm still in disbelief that you typed all that out thinking it was a good take- get help.

    The family is outraged??? The police and every citizen should be 'outraged' by that family giving out disinformation by saying the police 'decided' to shoot their son etc., That family put the police in a situation where they had no choice but to eliminate the 'threat' on their lives or anyone elses. Imagine what type of PTSD or mental anguish those officers have to go through and how it affects their families when they have to do something like this!!
