- The driver jumped through the window of a home and barricaded for nearly 30 minutes while officers waited outside. Eventually the suspect surrendered without further incident.

Do all American vehicles have ti ted windows front and back? As on every chase its almost impossible to see through any of the windows of any cars.
Yes....and according to most state laws (they do vary) all windows EXCEPT driver and passenger can be tinted extremely dark. For the safety of law enforcement is the reason for a lighter tint in the front section of automobile. Some disagree that allowing dark tint on the sides and back should also not be allowed....but then you have to consider that they basically fall into the same category as delivery vans, step side work trucks, etc. where visibility is also limited until reaching the front of the vehicle.

Some accountability needs to be had at the department level! Voters can only do so much. If you have officers going after "crimes that aren't that much" (said @ 21:17), then go after crimes, that ARE that much! Regardless cops should just DO THEIR JOB!! Without violating people's rights, making false allegations, & profiling, maybe more cases would stick! Them NOT following up, is corruption right there.. imo..🤷🏽♂️

No that window was not broken when it first came to a stop....actually it looks like someone actually dropped the ball in making sure that the vehicle was actually empty until quite a bit of time had passed. They were clearing the suv for any additional passengers and it was already dark outside. 🤣🤣🤣

2:24 - There are no bullet holes or tape on the back of the SUV here - 28:32 but they appear here, unless the "tape" is actually damage to the window by the projectile impacts...
"a crowd is starting to surround the officers" there are 7 people standing on the median looking at the house and 3 or 4 people standing further back across the intersection on the side walk they don't look like they are "surrounding the officers" and the people on the median all seemed to have come out of the building involved. When Police start putting out tape they quickly move out of the area the police have now cordoned. "people are getting aggravated" and "people are getting agitated" ...there was one guy that had earlier gone back and forth into the building and later he was motioning to the house and to the lady he was talking to and when the lady appears to get on her phone he stops waving his arms around and just stands next to her like he was trying to get her to do soemhting like call the guy in the house.. didn't see how they could say that meant the crowd was getting agitated or the crowd was aggravated

The window he jumped in was already on the ground. It is a sliding window, and the brother had to have removed it for him, for him to be able to jump in so fast. The screen is against the building, but the sash in on the ground @ 25:15. Where are the bars? Most of the other windows have bars. The brother needs to be charged for aiding a fugitive.
I was going to say that his charges now will be much more serious than the possible DUI, but this is L.A., so DA Gascon probably will give him a meaningless ticket, which he can ignore.
