I wasn't expecting this to have a dlc tbh, but it's great that it does. Always felt like it had good potential

Her running is so different from Jack.. she s much more heavy and moves in bit hoops instead of Jacks smooth fast pitter-patter
I like Jack movement, hel is overpowered because she just jumps so high it makes it easier to kill a lot of people but it's not fun
Dlc is only good for more lore while ghostrunner is the best in my opinion

@@shawnsanders6113 for me, the dlc gameplay was more wonky and less polished than the original. It was still good nonetheless
I felt like Doom Slayer, to be honest. I loved it.
This is better than both other games in this franchise, the best music, the best story, the best level design and nothing excessive - pure ultraviolence
Does she know that the body in the closet is jack? Considering she betrayed Mara in the end I'm think she left him alone as a plan B just in case she died
For real. I thought that she didn't know that he's the leader, but you payed attention and saw a nice detail. Appreciate your mind, mate
She spends a good chunk of the DLC following the letter of her orders but not the spirit. Prime example being with Bakunin - told to apprehend him and take him in alive, which she does by pinning him to the ground with her sword in such a way that taking the sword out will kill him. I wouldn't be at all surprised if having been ordered to find and kill the leader of the Climbers, Hel deliberately left out discovering a mostly intact and repaired Ghostrunner for the sake of either fighting him later or to create headaches for Mara down the line.
@@Kilaknux Agree. And let's think about this: What actually would happen, if Hel went and killed Mara? Jack would only fight with the first machine and he wouldn't understand the truth, cause Mara is dead. Mara said him that Architect is a liar, so Jack and Architect wouldn't die
I always thought she ignored him because, after seeing the arm, she assumed it was someone else's corpse, since Ghostrunner's arms are different from mechanical augments normal people use.

Did you even play the game? This was not Hel that fought Jack in the main game. Hel in this DLC planned to rebel against Mara but ended up being backstabbed by another "Hel" ( the one Jack actually fought ). In this DLC she found an unconscious ( inactive to be precise ) Jack but refused to kill him. And Dev already confirmed this happened before the main game.
He's talking if you played as hel again as the one who jack killed
I think Hel transfer her consciousness to Jack. Not all of them, just her skills and ability to think independent.
This could be why Jack can easily defeat the new model. It because he know it technique since Hel and Jack are the same ghostrunner.
(It also could be that that Jack remember that he is Hel just acting and changing her fighting style since she is in a different body and don't want Mara to know that she is alive. It could also explain why at the end of the original story, Jack is still function. It become of Hel. Maybe in the future, Jack and Hel will be able to communicate with each other like V from cyberpunk. 2 personality 1 body)
Has anyone noticed that hel grabs her sword with two hands while jack only grabs his sword with one hand
Probably because hel is less skilled with a blade, while jack is way more skilled

@@Sierra-058 Or just different fighting styles. A katana can be used one-handed to leave the other free for flourishes or leverage, or it can be used two-handed for greater force and direction.
Probably they just wanted to separate the two's animations, making them feel unique.

So Hel figured out who Jack was, but because he was an inactive Ghostrunner she didn’t see him as a target that needed to be eliminated. I’m wondering if that meant she was subtly trying to rebel against Mara.
She probably didn’t think that the climbers could ever resurrect him so she didn’t care
That part was pretty cool. Her leaving Jack alone sealed her demise. I would've liked to fight Jack from her perspective though. We never see the ghostrunner in third person in game.
@@reginaldamedee7433 Thing is, the Hel that Jack fights is the one that almost decapitates the one we play as in the DLC. It wasn’t the same one that was about to go against Mara, but was most likely the one that killed the original climbers before Jack reactivated.
Which level was this incident?
@@ArjunDg99 If you're asking when did Hel kill the rest of the climbers, then you never actually see it happen in game. The Hel that was going against Mara killed herself to keep the replacement of her from uploading the data she had acquired and prevented her from annihilating the rest of the climbers immediately.

that was a different Hel this one was rogue and it was playing along with Mara until the end when she killed herself, Mara made several copies of Hel.

I feel like the last level should have been a boss fight. The final one being aganint Jack. But after the boss he just blocks and kills Hel like he did in his story path

I'm interested in this dlc because it platinizes the base game... But does this dlc really last so little? Or is it more because of your ability to play that you finished it very quickly?
You should be able to finish the DLC in 2-3 hours.

What am I missing on the level 3 boss fight? I blocked him literally 20 times in a row and it never gave an opening. After every other hit my vision goes fuzzy and says reboot. But never an opening with the arrows like for you.

34:45 I was considering getting the dlc but they butchered my native language here they wrote "م ط ع م" in all seperate letters instead of "مطعم" which is supposed to be written. It means restaurant in case you're wondering.
