    [ WELCOME ]
    Hi there, I'm Ellie; welcome to my channel! I'm just entering my second year as part of the planner community and I have done a pretty deep dive into all of the goodies. I love seeing everyone share what they're using and how they're using it, and I wanted to do the same. As I figure out what works for me I hope to curate a collection that I love and control my fear of missing out and wanting all.of.the.things. This will be a process, but one that I'm looking forward to!
    The way that I hold my pen(cil) looks incredibly awkward and uncomfortable, but I promise that it's not! I know it isn't "correct" but it works for me.

    Thank you for this video! I loved seeing what worked for you and what didn't. As I sit here looking at my new B6 Wonderland 222 trying to determine my set up, your ideas really helped! 🙂 I'm moving from a TN to a hybrid set up of bujo with separate future log and loved your ideas. Thanks again!

      I’m so glad it helped!! B6 is a great size. Have you watched @daksina? She has so much B6 inspiration.
      I’d never migrated bullet journals mid year before but I found it so helpful to be able to go through what worked and what didn’t so I can continue to hone and adjust my system. I hope you enjoy setting up your new system - the setup is my favourite part. Thank you for watching!! 🥰

    You have the tidiest, most attractive bullet journal setup I’ve ever seen😍

      🥰 Thank you so much Sarah! I think being in a smaller size causes me to be as neat as possible. I’m always grateful for thin pens!

    Awesome video, Ellie! I love seeing your migration. It’s so interesting what things come and go in just a few months. I love that the bullet journal system can evolve as we do. I love the future log insert, and passport size is a great idea. The size is so functional, and it would work great no matter the cover you’re using. I know your long term collections insert and your future log are going to be game changers the next time you migrate. When the system comes together so well, it’s a pleasure to use. Thank you so much for sharing! 🧡

      Thank you Casey! Until I sat down to setup the Leuchtturm it hadn’t dawned on me that I’d never migrated mid-year before. It was interesting to see what worked and what didn’t, and you are so right, the future log and long term collections will be game changers and I’m really excited to move forward with them! I always appreciate your comments and insight! 💛

    Great video. I have a similar setup. I use a6 stalogy as bullet journal and a travelers company passport size monthly insert for future log. I don’t enjoy drawing monthly pages and as you said it is easier to migrate. 👍🏼

    • @elliescorner2019
      @elliescorner2019  Před 4 lety +1

      Ooooh I didn’t even think of passport size! The separate future log is such a wonderful idea... when I set up the bullet journal at the beginning of the year I enjoyed the full setup and didn’t think much of it (it was so fresh and exciting!), but when it came time to migrate it was like “ehhhh this is a lot of work, what’s most efficient here?” 😂 Thank you so much for watching!

    I always learn something new! Having the Future log separated is such a good idea! I go through a bujo in three months since I write a lot. I usually keep a future log with only six months in but then I have like 5 post-its with further months that I need to keep track of my next migration. having it separated would help.
    Its like learning having the index at the back all over again XD such a good idea and different and, like, a game changer.

      @elliescorner2019  Před 4 lety

      Thank you for watching!! I’m liking my separate future log, and knowing I won’t have to rewrite it this year. 🤣 An index at the back?! I’ve never heard of that, I’ll have to check it out. 😊

    Hi! If it’s okay to share, how did you cut down the hobonichi A6? Thanks. I’ve been thinking of doing the same for next year

      Hi there! I took my notebook to Staples and asked that it be cut down to 3.5 X 5.5 inches. (I can’t remember if I asked them to cut the bottom or top of the notebook but I did specify.) It was under $5 CAD at the time. I hope that helps! ☺️

    What is grid and shortcut ? What role it plays in your journal ?

    • @elliescorner2019
      @elliescorner2019  Před 4 lety +3

      For the grid I count out the number of squares (or dots) on a page. I write it down and I will divide the page into sections (half, quarters, third) so that I can quickly see how to divide the page for different layouts.
      The shortcuts page is a record of which pens and highlighters I use so that I can keep it consistent.
      Thank you for watching! 😊

      Thank you so much! Do you mean the calendars I used for my future log in my first bullet journal? If so, I bought those on JetPens but I don’t see them there currently. They are by the brand PINE BOOK Co. (If that’s not what you were referring to, please let me know! 😊)

    future log laminated cover: do you have a bone folder? Or a rule? going against the seem might help.

    • @elliescorner2019
      @elliescorner2019  Před 4 lety

      Thanks for the suggestions, I’ll have to check them out! The future log still isn’t closing flush, but since it’s in a pocket it’s not too bothersome. 🤷🏻‍♀️

    • @mandn821
      @mandn821 Před 4 lety +1

      If you are able to remove the cover (I'm watching on my phone so I'm not sure of the binding), remove it and run it thru your hot laminator a couple of times while it is folded. That should help train it also.

    What is the use of coping statements ?🤔
    What is idea behind it ?🤓

    • @elliescorner2019
      @elliescorner2019  Před 4 lety +1

      I use coping statements as reminders for myself when I’m feeling especially stressed or anxious. They are things that I know but can forget during tough times and I just like to have them written out so I can read them and it helps me feel more centered. Examples could be something like:
      “I’ve done this before so I can do it again”
      “I don’t need to fight my feelings”
      “Whatever happens, happens.”
      I hope this helps! 💛
