  • By popular request! Here's a flip through of my new pocket bullet journal.
    ABOUT ME:
I'm a fifty-something mom of two girls. I've loved planners, paper, and getting things done forever. I love Filofax, Hobonichi, Franklin Covey, Jibun Techo, Bullet Journaling in a Stalogy or Leuttchturm... all the planners! My favorite season used to be Back to School: notebooks, pens, paper, oh my! Join me as I share my journey through the world of planning.
When I'm not playing in planners, I work full-time as a director of product marketing/management in the software industry and enjoy my free time with my husband, daughters, and pets and adventuring in the mountains around me.

Love this! And I was taught to always leave the first page blank in a journal because in case someone flips it open, all they'll hopefully see will be that blank page!

Love the DIY Fish monthly inserts. Still one of my favorites to this date.

I’ve been using my pocket Leuchtturm this month as well and have been for just a little bit and I LOVE it and I find myself using and reaching it for it more than my usual planner. Anytime I declare a planner - it’s like demand avoidance lol and then I won’t want to use it. But I do love my pocket bujo and I’m just going with the flow 😂

Re: planning ahead etc. Alastair Method Calendar for months ahead are indispensable in my bujo for that very reason.

I don't know if you like TRP, but Planner Monkey Co has pocket size undated planners with note pages, as well as pocket size notebooks. They are soft cover, excellent quality. I have a few. I am so glad this pocket bujo style is working for you. I am using a pocket TN, but I am really getting the itch to use pocket rings again. But then, I have these cute planners and notebooks from Planner Monkey Co. I am really having a hard time. I love ALL things pocket. I am perfectly happy with my current system. But I just have been really thinking about rings a lot lately. But, then there are those bound books. I could get a cute custom pocket codex from VDS (after I save the money). So many decisions. They are all so exciting, but then it wears me out because I don't know which one to choose, or stay with what I have anyway. 🙄😊

I did not know about the Planner Monkey Co ... I will have to go check those out! This was such an impulse thing to set up so I'm just rolling with what I have, but if I end up staying in this set-up I may try to get a little more strategic about what I use. I agree about the decision fatigue! That's part of why I did this - I was just flip-flopping back and forth between pocket/a6/personal rings trying to decide what to do.
So many choices - a blessing and a curse!

Love it! Pocket anything is my favourite 😻
Do you have a monthly task list/brain dump? Or a future log? This is where i schedule any future plans including tasks or reminders. This is what i reference every week when i set up my weeklies. This way you don’t have to rewrite stuff week to week or day to day.

Yes, I have a monthly task list at the front of each month. And in my rings I also have a master task list. Maybe I need to move it to my bujo.
      Thanks for stopping by!
