- Another great game against Javier's beastmen.
Apologies about the slight blurry camera. We had a storm during recording some of the lighting was a bit off.
Slowly getting closer to 2000pts and hopefully more towards competitive games.
But for now, I hope you guys enjoy this fun game!

So funny, the 1000pt list I created today included both the Cockatrice and Jabberslythe. Not sure I will go with both, but this will help!
Definitely give them both a try. Really fun playstyles and add a different tactical element your opponent will have to react to.

Great batrep. I see you answered what happened to the dragon ogres. I found your channel because I am starting a nurgle army but funny thing is my main army is beastmen so this batrep was of interest. Seems like the plague bearers withstood the DO charge well. I am guessing the herald buffs/icons really help the plaguebearers
Yeah, the nurgle daemons are definitely hardy, and the heralds with certain gifts and banners make the unit quite tanky.
Definitely can recommend trying them.
But as for truly competitive games, they lack quite a bit, as magical attacks just kill them outright. In certain areas, especially at my recent events, the amount of magical attacks just beat their toughness capabilities
@@Yong-Duke I am guessing Having some lvl 4 wizardry on the Nurgle side should help that to counter it?
@HeresyProducktionz it definitely does but at higher level play it just seems that the amount of magical attacks such as spells and characters will eventually overcome the nurgle daemons.
I've had good success with them for sure at events, but with some of the character builds such as flying characters with monster slaying you're greater demon and princes will almost certainly die.
Beastmen look really strong in Old World. Gors are open order AND skirmish?! Very strong, plus more monsters including chaos trolls and chaos ogres
