Hi, GameXplain, it's 100% fake. I've been researching what's been going on for a couple of months now along with a couple of friends and we have found it it is not at all Nintendo, a troll by the name of Aaron Peters has been doing so, Aaron has a wide reputation for taking down Nintendo NSFW artists and fangames as early as 2018 before finally moving onto Steam, he first targeted a game called Fraymakers, then targeted Gmod, then TF2, then SFM and so forth. Yes, They will remove content, however they do not know it's all illegitimate. There has been proven multiple inconsistant facts about it such as originally cherry-picking addons, the fact Nintendo addons have existed as early as 2005, Gmod being so huge it would be completely impossible for Nintendo not to notice.

@@awakenedcrowl SMG4 and Glitch are the same company but two totally different things. SMG4 is made mostly with garry's mod lead by Luke, and TADC is lead by Gooseworx in another software specifally made for animation rather than a 20 year old game.

Edit (a week later): Welp, it's real. I hate Nintendo a lot sometimes... :( However, it might not be as bad as we think. Plenty of those in the GMod community have already saved and archived ALL of the Nintendo models and assets ever put into the game. So, if you want Nintendo stuff in your GMod experience all you really need is just to know a guy, pretty easy to do on the internet. As long as these 20 years of actual gaming and internet history are preserved somewhere they can remain safe and untouched. That's what matters most.
I'm also pretty sure this is a crime.

If the 3rd Party Smash Characters are taken down too, you're out of luck for certain characters. While some characters like Kazuya and Sora have more modern designs to work with, there are others who have not received any new models in a long while, such as Banjo & Kazooie, Simon, and Snake.
