Marc is unbelievably underrated
Saw him at a place called Harpos in Detroit like 12 years ago. They were done playing and he was walking out and me and my friends actually got to talk to him. It was amazing
I think he's pretty well rated. Everyone who has heard of him and his music thinks he's pretty fuckin dope!

@@whrussy Right... is he underrated? No, but that's not because he's not amazing or because anyone who knows him doesn't think he's amazing. He's just not as well known as we wish he was. He is in my top 5 of best riff-masters of all time. He's consistently unbelievable and his playing frequently blows my mind. Nobody sounds quite like him. Most people who know him agree.

Here’s a trick Periphery taught me. If you don’t have a whammy bar but you have a sort of floating bridge(like an Ibanez standard one) if you strum the 6th string but bend the 5th string. The 6th one will detune. It works with the other strings as well.

Definitely Top 5.. He's done some "pretty impossible to pull off live" riffs during his tine as the sole guitarist of one of the heaviest bands..

@@robertherrick6703 Honestly, my guess would have to be that they can't actually play the song that well so they pretend to play it. That's really the only reason I could see someone doing it. I could be wrong, though.
I use playthrough videos as ways to see how the artists actually play a certain riff or whatever for the sake of me knowing how to play it
@@robertherrick6703 For people to see what the guitar's actually doing, I always watch a playthrough when I want to see what the guitar part looks like or if I'm trying to learn the song, personally couldn't care less if they're actually playing it or not because that doesn't change the guitar part I'm there to see.

ayyye, it's brother marco. this sounds a bit different than what i'm used to on the album, but then again, i always listened to it during work, with mowers and other machinery in the background, so maybe this is the first time i'm _really_ hearing the music.
