I was having a hard time conceptualizing these puzzles until I read the description, very helpful and cool 👍
Hi
Hi cubarithms
It's the only way I could understand them so I figured it would be helpful
It's helpful.. isn't it...
what?
Or just use the words:
Big, Shiny, and Blue
Less flashy than:
Giant, Metallic, and Winter

I like how you lined up the colors to match the big 3x3
The Big 3x3 Is Also 9x9 Because One Piece Of The Big Rubiks Cube Is The Same As 1 3x3
@@steviebhoy819 Technically any 3xe cube is a tiny 9x9, but you only do triple moves

1:10 he arranged the 27 3x3s in a jperm just like the giant one. nice.
wow big cube
The metallic color of the cube is great, id love to see stickerless mirror cubes with that metallic color finish, I'm surprised those aren't already on the market
0:17 JPREM got us finally 😂😂
When your normal 3x3 time is slower than J Perm's HUGE cube solve...
I was also gonna say that lol
Same lol
It's equal to my oh solve
Aye that’s me
Simple way to reduce time is fix your mistakes and actually practice instead of mindlessly solving and scrambling and repeating those mistakes. I got from 48 to 21 in a month, and to 13 in another 5 weeks. Reason is holidays. I spammed practice and kept grinding
The perfect representation of a cubers point of view at 7:50 is the best
3:35 the yellow shape is sus 🤨
finally someone noticed
AYYY YOOO BROOO
J perm should make his own cube (from scratch) using a 3D printer
@@Baffoon23 not to sell, just for content
Yea but it probably wouldn’t compete with top speedcubes but it would be cool to see a video on that.
@@TriMoblin yes that’s what I meant after
To make something from scratch, you have to create the universe first (or however it is that the saying goes)
yes
5:18 yay! I'm faster than J Perm on a 3x3.

years of practice, and this isn’t even as fast as he has turned better cubes
Just wait till he sees the rest of Jperm

I love that the giant cube turn better than a regular Rubik’s brand 3x3

He has more than 27 3 by 3 s....
he is a speedcuber, it's obvious that he has more than 100 rubix cubes LOL
I actually like the lower contrast from white cubes when they are stickered lol, the high contrast with black makes it harder to tell apart yellow and white
I love cubes with different colored borders. That's why I'll buy more limited editions.
I also love different color stickers. So, I'm gonna put my own custom shades on all the stickered cubes I get from now on.
I think the blue cube could have looked much nicer if it was a much darker blue. I get that it's supposed to be winter-themed, but such a light blue really does make it an eyesore
Agreed
I think I disagree. I dont think dark blue is a very winter-esq colour, plus then it might be too close to the sticker blue colour.
I’m confused it looks dark to me
8:00 Santa is dabbing
Yes, he is
No way
I have the Cyclone Boys "Metallic" 3x3 M, and it's so satisfying to play with for every reason, I actually learned to solve 3x3s on it. Good cubes really make the difference.
Do you know if it is compatition legal?
I love your vids! Thank you so much I just got my first 2x2 speed cube and I’m solving it while watching
J perm, you are easily one of my favorite cubed youtubers, keep up the amazing work, and just know, your content is amazing, and I could constantly rewatch videos. Thank you J perm.
I legit bought a 3x3 because you are so fast at solving it, and I want to learn from ur tutorials

Love how the timer just started at seconds instead of milliseconds
I loved how much energy was in this vid
The moment you realize, J perm solves this faster than you solve a normal sized 3x3 cube.
I’m always impressed when I see a PLL done on those weird cubes.
I average around 17 sec but I’m absolutly incapable of doing a PLL if my muscle memory is off.
Just wondering whether you guys have the same limitation…
For algorithms like T perm or J perm(of course), which have only r u f moves and easy to remember and execute even if muscle memory doesn’t really work, they can still be done decently, but for those like r u d algs, especially g perm or v perm, it’s like 70% I mess it up when muscle memory is gone
I struggle to git under 15 secs so I also do not hav pll yet
I m about your average and for me I m able to do last layer quite good regardless of size/color or anything. I would totally fail at recognising F2L though
@@Memestosatifsyyourneeds Are you ok?
@MageBurger your muscles don’t actually remember, you know that right?
I’m so hyped you got the blue tornado v2 as I really wanted to hear a review on the cube I’m hoping to arrive soon !
I got the exact same cube! Thanks for giving me the great idea of sanding the pieces. I'ma do that
The metallic one is just awesome. Definitely want one
I wonder if there is a release agent on the sides of the new cube that needs to be cleaned off before the stickers are applied? Maybe a light washing with dawn dish soap. I have only bought stickerless cubes, so I don't have experience applying them.
How does this man not have more subs? High quality, unbiased opinions, humor and thought goes into each video.
He's the largest in the cubing space.
It weighs 945 grams according to its product description.
That's almost a kilogramme.
Wow.
Hear me out, hear me out... lube a cube with aquaphor/vasaline. It turns so smoothly. If you really like your tensioning, but it's a little too zippy, use a little bit of aquaphor, it doesn't take a lot. Vasaline is a little bit more watery, and will be a little faster than aquaphor. It also makes the cube completely silent.
I would recommend putting it on 2-3 pieces. (2 edge, 1 corner).
Jperm: I wonder if the pieces are bigger then 3x3's
Me: He will just get a 3x3 and compare it to one of the pieces
Jperm: I have 27 3x3's so I'm gonna use them
This is why this man gets more subs than any cubers out there, legend.
I almost, almost order the giant~ after reading the reviews I decided not to. Cool to actually see it in action🙂 Thank you.

"The biggest cube that i had have just beaten by a 3x3"

The fact that the giant 3x3 is probably as big as his 21x21 is amazing
I think it’s bigger, just maybe
They showed it was bigger
It's oddly fitting to hear Zero Escape music playing over someone solving a ridiculously oversized cube.
It's also odd that I can still almost instantly recognize the Zero Escape OST after 1.5 years.
thought I was the only one
I loved the metallic cube so much that I got it but in 2x2 version. It can corner cut more than 45 degrees, and it can do a U3 as well
U3 = U’(u prime)
The Big 3x3 has a potential to be an event.
Fun fact, atleast for me solving the rubiks impossible cube i kept forgetting simple algs cus my recognition was messed up and once i finally figured it out i couldn't recognize how to do the alg anymore
That metallic cube looks really nice
Dude, your giant cube solve is better then my pb on a regular 3x3
Damn imagine going on a competition with this!
Wait is it actually legit???

9:30 does he sound like an Australian to anyone else
The person who made the big rubiks cube: "Let's make it for people to solve it slowly."
J perm: *solves the cube in under a minute.*
That giant 3x3 kinda makes me want to see someone solve 27 3x3 cubes then stack them in the same shape of a giant 3x3 as fast as possible...
One cube that was very interesting was plastic colors like Stickerless, but it had textured black stickers on all 6 sides, so you see the corners, not the center of the piece

You scrambling the shiny Rubik's cube looks so satisfying tho
Fun fact!
J Perm's CZcams logo is of 2×2 cube but most of his videos are of 3×3.
How is it you can solve this faster than i can on a normal one
10:32 imo the only color that looks good on sticker Ed cubes is light pink, white or black, something like red or blue imo isn't that good
i could literally watch you scramble that metal cube for hours its so satisfying
3:35 love that pattern
1:27 So this cube wouldn't be your blindfolded main now.
7:05 This is what you came for
True...........
his obsessions with cubes are wholesome
That big cube is amazing
The giant 3x3 is comp legal, I want to see someone compete with it.
I would be 100 percent proud
The fact that this guy could solve that gigantic 3x3 faster than I can solve a regular 3x3 scares me.
;-;
With upscaling you get more friction and that will make it harder to turn
1:13 I'm not sure which is more concerning, the fact that cube is bigger than 27 3x3 cubes, or the fact you actually have 27 3x3 cubes
27 3x3
It’s concerning that he has 27 3x3s, that’s not even close to how many cubes he ACTUALLY has
(The cubicle shop sponsors him)
Loved the video as usual. One comment through about sticker vs stickerless: I am colorblind and have never had issues with the Rubik's cube. Now, I have a bunch of stickerless cubes and like you, I think that they look better... however, depending on the lighting of the room where I am, I can have serious issues with orange vs green and if I am not careful enough, I often detect that I wrongly oriented the orange / green cublet when I arrive in an "impossible" end of the cube.
TLDR: I wish I could get the original color pattern with a stickerless cube !!!
i have no color issues, but in anything but bright light, i have a lot of trouble with yellow vs. white
I recommend you get your own custom shades. I'm not colorblind, but I have custom shades.

Metal cube looks so smooth compared to the giant cube
3:52 Nathan Wilson had a pretty good video on this thing, but video is gone now.
5:25 still faster than me on normal 3x3
2 week ago I bought a 3x3 cube for the first time mine solve time was about 1-2 minutes then I learned all algorithms of cfop and now my speed is about 20 to 30 sec.
I want to have my hands on the cube just as you do! Teach me this power 😄
Hey I really love your videos I bought a mini mat and used your code glad I can support you!
Hello Mr. Wang, about 3 years ago you said you're working on a new technique to reduce the move count using cfop on 3x3, is there any update on that method? Let us know, I am sub 8 cuber, learned everything from your channel, watched those videos again and again. Thank you for making such a great content, I am hoping that you will break a world record soon and you deserve more subs than you have, Thank you, sir.

0:08 to 7:04 - BIG CUBE
7:05 to 8:53 - Metallic cube
8:54 to 10:46 - Blue Tornado V2
I like the fact that this man can solve a giant 3x3 in the same time I can solve a 2x2
My first guess looking at it is that the metallic cube is vacuum metallized. Basically, there's an extremely thin layer of aluminum on top of the plastic caps, which is then covered in a clear coat to protect the finish and/or give it a different color.
