My friends and I do the Mario theme with various noises all the time, so my jaw literally dropped when you did it with the bubble wrap. Subscribed.
Yes
I have watched this video for months and just realized this
The Mario song has been engraved into my mind ever since I replayed that Mario playing on a ping pong table video a thousand times.
I luv Mario
Taylor, everyone tries to make the Mario theme song with anything. Like it’s not that surprising lmao

I was thinking the same thing, glad someone said it.
But if you got all of the same colored pieces on the same layer, it would already be solved. No orientation

I thought it might have been to practice first layer and then oll and pll because F2l is considered the hardest step for beginners to learn
@@Hello-kc7on Really? Most F2L cases can be done intuitively by begginers
@@Israel220500 Yeah, and that’s usually harder than just executing an algorithm lol, although the algorithm memorizing process might take a while..
@@jlightmusic6258 Maybe, but I think understanding better how the pieces move is beneficial on the long run, it will help with things like look ahead in the future.
I have the “monster go cloud” cube. I use it to practice my OLL and PLL. Easier for me to keep track how the pieces of the top layer (for OLL) or the bottom layer (for PLL) move. It’s pretty cube.
i love that
you cant do PLL because the side colours are all the same. OLL is fine though
@@EmmzMC for PLL, I simply do any alg I want to practice and keep track on how the bottom layer’s pieces move instead of the top during the alg’s steps. You’re correct. The top layer will be solved for pll. Maybe that’s my weird habit. When I do a pll alg, I memorize how the white pieces of the bottom layer go on a normal cube as well. 😅
I got one too, it’d my first speed cube and I had no clue it was from gan until now

"WHEN TESTING" these cubes corner cut better than the xs out of the box
The small cornercuts made in solves are really smooth and nice though, especially the reverse cuts.
the larger corner cutting a cube has will not matter if the smaller ones are not good enough, it's because of that that the gan xs is so liked by so many people

I think the UT cube is actually useful to practice the last layer algorithms as it's easy to set them up in a position that's one move away from a solve them attempt the algorithms where if there's a mistake made while attempting it then it's easy to reset it and doesn't require solving the whole cube to get it back to the right position
2:47 I've created cubes like this to try and teach my friends how to cube. I find it useful for me to help teach them, as they focus on a singular step (cross, the first layer, first 2 layers, etc), and then use that knowledge to build up to the next step.
If they mess up the first layer, they can use their tunnel-visioned knowledge to solve the cross and try again on the first layer.
I managed to teach three people in Minnesota and one of my engineering mates with the cubes. I am always down to try and teach new people how to cube if they are willing to learn.
Gan:"Releases a cheap cube"

This used to be the top comment
@@emmanuel7704 i am happy at least there is more than 1 like
@@voidman6419 well this is random
Training cubes are useful for newbies, but for most of them all you really need to do is remove the stickers. I guess the striped one might not be so easy, but it's just as easy to buy a normal cube and remove stickers, rather than buying a specific cube.
Also, the void cube can be achieved by simply removing the centerpiece caps, even if they're stickered. It won't look as good, but great if you just like the challenge of it rather than the aesthetics.
0:05: most satisfying part of unboxing. I could do this forever.

I went back to that part like 20 times
Its soooooo satisfying
I picked up the UT cube to help me learn to solve the cross. I had a problem where everything would get lost in the colors and the black pieces on the UT cube has helped me identify patterns on my main 3x3 so it actually has helped. However it’s not magnetic so it hasn’t been helpful for practicing speed at all. It’s also a little sticky when starting a turn so it’s not the greatest thing on the market. I wouldn’t recommend it, just get a good 3x3 and practice, practice, practice!

Great video! I think getting one of these for a new cuber or a young child would be a great option if your on a budget.
the way I teach a basic method of solving cubes to a couple of friends for casual solving and nothing like speed cubing I can see these cubes be usefull, they have very specific lessons in mind that would make it easy to focus on for a beginner that can be distracted by all 6 colors being everywhere
6:04 calmed me so much, since you played the music you play in all your videos
J perm: There aren't't any methods where you make 1 side
Ortega: Am I a joke to you?
Ortega is for 2x2
Doing first face on 2x2 is diff than first layer(for lbl) of f2l(cfop) for 3x3
@@abstractcuber236 You can do ortega on 3x3 too
@@user-hv1nz3qu9h but it doesn't start with creating a face. It starts by solving the corners
@@Rattus375 There is another variation of ortega on 3x3, where you solve the bottom and top faces, do PLL and solve the E slice with an z rotation and M U moves.

Hey Dylan, you should do a review on the new Meilong and rs3m 2020. Your reviews are always very blunt in a good way and entertaining to watch! Great job! シ
blunt as in smoking
The bubble popping
is satisfying
Omg ur movements are so smooth!
Looking at your solve I think it would be cool to see you try and speed cube on the old cube hardware to show how significantly it’s improved
You counted the 2.55 and discarded the 2.93 at the end
Common J perm!!
1:40 it is a cube for learning to solve a regular one, it teaches you the first and second layers
I bought a magnetic monster go cube off Amazon for £15 I was going to buy a non magnetic meilong for £10 but I saw this and just thought I’d get it happy that it looks better than my Rubiks brand one though. I don’t turn particularly quickly so this one should be fine for me. Thanks for the early look though.
I would argue the rainbow cube is good for beginners, because it helps introduce someone to the concept of solving a cube by layers and not one face at a time, but it also looks like a complete puzzle
Does anyone actually have any idea why they're called MONSTER?
It’s for the excitement for little kids
It's mostly directed to young cubers, and they love monsters. That's also why the box looks so vibrant along with the logo.
I think they're useless, if somebody wants to learn how to solve the cube he doesnt buy this ones, and at a lower price we can find better cubes. They're called Monster go because they are made for kids
To scare away new cubers
And the ‘go’ is to say GO AWAY
the rainbow cube could be used as a transition to pseudoslotting, because you have to look for what two pieces make up the best pair
8:29, I also recommend the rs3m 2020 as it is only $9 and it has everything you need for a speed cube
0:50
"Theres no method that requires you to make a face, you always make a layer"

i think that the rainbow cube could actually be a good trainer for f2l, since as soon as you're done with the cross and f2l, the cube is solved
Probably not really because the colors are not different
I liked it instantly after that Mario start 😁 that gets me... good job
Popping That bubble wrap is really satisfying
These are probably good for irl teaching like a youth center in my town would teach people how to solve various cubes and these or ones like them where you just peel the unnecessary stickers off could help with the intimidation and distraction of a full color cube
Hey, the UT cube can be used to practise the last layer algs as OLL,PLL or ZBLL.
Isn't it???
Yes I use It too
People say that being sub 1 min on 4x4 is equivalent to sub 20 on a 3x3, I wanted to ask what is equivalent to sub 20 on 5x5?

At 0:07 I swear I heard the start of the Mario theme song 😂
That was the point
we all did!
With the rainbow cube, if you start with one of the full face colours in the bottom (orange or white) then that means during f2l, any of the four edges pairs with any one of the corners, and in any orientations. I’m not sure how useful this would be but you could choose which f2l case you want to do without need to set it up, while still making progress and with no need for last layer
