Two things I cannot stress enough.
1: Tarkov is a tough, unforgiving game with a steep learning curve. You are going to die ALOOOOOT, even as an experience player. We call it “getting Tarkoved”, don’t sweat it bud.
2: This isn’t call of duty or battlefield, take it slow, listen to your surroundings, and KD doesn’t mean shit in this game.

@@josephdontworryaboutit4495 the main thing I'm doing right now is learn the maps and extractions, tho I see a good bunch of juiced up players here and there and die quite often yeah, but it's fun honestly, me trying to hide or run away while I am just a little hatchet runner

I wish you would have shown the screens as you explained them. Example, I stopped watching when you were explaining the Traders but I was watching you heal yourself in game play. I did learn Scabs now loot which is a change and it does make getting insurance a little less important. Good stuff but when you title this as the Ultimate Guide, it would have been much better if the screen matched what you were describing. Thank you for making this video. It was helpful in some matters.
Whats do you need to know about traders?
@@yttrium5677 strategies with traders. I am new and just returning to the game. I get shot a lot but that is the grind. How about strategies for saving loot for hideout and upcoming tasks, or sell everything, except what I should keep, and collect them as I need them. I am just not managing traders very well. I just made level 9. No help from my son and son-in-law; as far as buying me things since they have tons of money. It doesn't help me learn a good trader strategy. I am just now learning how to level up my skills, which I never paid attention too. Just another thing to work on in the game. Like chess
I think it was a good flow. Especially for a beginning guide. He didn't stay on traders because that's not as important early on as he's explaining. I'm sure he has a more in depth guide on that... Or will.. First time watching him. But as someone who's played since the beginning ..2014/15? I think it was a good starting guide.

Second wipe, upgraded to eod for this wipe and I’m soooo happy I did. Don’t take the game to seriously and get through your head that you will die, a LOT! Lol

You can upgrade each edition and they deduct what you already paid from cost. . So you can slowly buy the EOD edition
I aint regretted it
The only complaint I have is my brain sort of tuned out around 10 minutes in due to the information overload.. xD

I backed Tarkov before it launched but never got into it, I feel like 2024 is the year so started playing over the Christmas break. There’s a lot to learn and your video has massively helped, great content so thank you for putting in the time.

So having an issue where anytime I try to get into a raid I get a "Game aborted. try reconnect" error, and it just loops that everytime I try to reconnect. Anyone have a fix

just bought tarkov and damn, leme tell u...its kind of overwhelming lol, im sure everyone that plays kinda knows that, but its super cool dude, i do however have a question and i hope i dont just come off at dumb, but how do i find the exfils? like i know how to check which ones i can use when im in game but shit, like D2 for example...where tf do i find the exfil at? or that one on streets called Kismilov street or somehitng, where is that? or scav camp on interchange...

having a second monitor is highly recommended especially when starting out. pull up a map on ur second monitor of whatever location you’re playing that shows things like exfils so you don’t get so lost.

Scav runs my guy. I usually just organize things, write down stuff I need, etc. The cool down isn't that bad. If you make it out, use that gear for your PMC or sell it for something a bit better in some cases. Just remember the bullets are more important than the gun.. by far. If not.. you can run around and pray to find guns. Either from bodies or found. That's PM it. I have dog water internet, so I feel the feels man.
Been playing prettt religiously since this wipe (played a bit last wipe) still on the fence to get eod… Cant justify spending 200$ to upgrade a game..
You won’t have to pay the full price when you upgrade you actually pay the difference between the version you have now. It’s up to you though, the bigger stash space is nice but if you enjoy the progression of leveling your stash than you’ll miss that if you upgrade. The gamma container can be handy though as well!

The sad thing about tarkov is that it is FULL of spawn campers if you are not lucky you won’t be able to enjoy a single second of this game

The best way to tell a player scav from a regular one is movement. The ai scavs will have very botty movement which eventually will look very obvious to you!

lol I thought this game was a resource saving hardcore shooter. It kinda just sounds like a fixing wounds in combat and heavy as shit pmc simulator
While you narration is useful its not that helpful when you're narrating without actually showing the screens you're referring to. Gameplay is distracting and takes away from your attempt to guide new players. Advice, when discussing a guideline, showing the screens and points you're referring to go a long way in educating rather than generic gameplay
Already too complex for a beginner
Just a warning to new players, this game is for ultra nerds, its not your casual shooter, its for real-life losers because if you want to become good you must invest a lot of time into this game. I can play videogames only on saturdays and sometimes on sundays too, i instantly get killed in the first minute of the game and then I quit without further motivation to play.
