As a new worship leader and as a 22- year-old, I had a lot of concerns especially because I know myself that I am an introvert and it is really hard for me to stand and speak in front of the congregation. Yikes!!! "What you do in private is what you do in public!" Welp...I guess I need to pray outloud more! Ugh I come from a catholic background and I still have an issue praying outloud boldly...there was a time that I did but admittedly I stopped so, there we go. lol

Thank you for taking time to help. I really like your advice and tips. Just something I have noticed time going by, is that we use prayer, calling and exhortation songs during praise and worship and instead of just praising God, we ask while we have encounters like intercessory prayer, bible study, etc... We ask, ask without really taking time for a romance with God like in the songs of Solomon. He already knows what we need.
Leading worship is leading people to a place where they contemplate God, tell him how beautiful and good he is.... it's all about him.
Sometimes I don't understand worship leaders. One is singing a song which exalt God and in the middle or at the end he talk to people to encourage them. So take a song of encouragement before or at the end of the sermon.
Let's make worship all about God.

I know this question is not related to this video but it’s from one of your previous videos I watched on the formula for what to say before you worship. Now, what if my pastor has stirred up the people's spirit and charged the atmosphere before I come up and I just went straight to all the talking-welcoming and all-won’t it kill the atmosphere that my pastor has already created before I came on stage? Won’t it be better that I just went straight into the worship since the people are already charged up? What do you think? So, in such a case, would I be right to say I don’t really need to use the formula before I start singing/worshipping?
