Actually, I am not sure having people turn and greet each other right at the start. I've been in churches where you could tell most people do not enjoy being told to 'greet' before settling into worship. I found a church where the worship leader greets everyone, and either prays for the Holy Spirit's leading or a verse then he just starts. But, after the worship ends the congregation is encouraged to fellowship for 5 to ten minutes, get a coffee, greet each other and have time to share a little more than just a 'hi there' then you sit and never talk to them the rest of the service. I found this to be really organic and yet not forced. I highly recommend this method.
Hey thanks for your comment. I think every church is different. I've seen my method work in my church and many other churches that I have visited quite well. But I can understand and see your method working great as well. Blessings!
@@MichaelEGouldMusic Thanks for the reply Micheal. I suppose, at the end of the day, there is no right on wrong way, so long as people are encouraged to share their lives with one another at some point during the service, especially if some are new to the church.
