How soon after a major hurricane do you know if you're going to be called for deployment or not, especially for new adjusters? I can see a little time going by afterward, in order for power to be restored and claims to be filed - but I imagine after two weeks, if you haven't gotten a call, you probably won't. Am I right?
I think that's pretty accurate. However, sometimes adjusters will be deployed in waves if they underestimate the claim volume.
I have a lot of property claims experience, but limited repetition with field inspections, licensed out of Florida. Looking for field work, HELP!!!

I suggest you spread the word, meet the right people who are out to help others and not only out to dig inside your pockets. You don’t need to pay people to notice you- that’s outrageous!
Cali Girl right now I’m on Pilots roster. I have a friend who knows a few people and got me connected. So I’m waiting on some work...maybe I just need to be patient?
You have to get training and you have to network. Those things will add up but considering how much you can make doing this, it's small-potatoes.
Right now work is a bit slim because we typically need some bad weather. There's been a little bit, but storm season is just getting ramped up.
Hang in there!

You can also find yourself a good mentor. I don’t mean someone who’s gonna charge you an arm and a leg for showing you the ropes, but someone who still has a caring side, and wants to see people succeed, and don’t mind taking a few minutes of their time to show you. There’s still some great people out there, patience is a virtue!

I would never discourage anyone from at least trying. I’m a strong believer in setting an intention to help lead the way and that is better than doing nothing.
You have to pay thousands of dollars to “stand out”... ????
Two questions for you: How much is a Bachelor's degree? And what does a BA do other than make you stand out?

You seem to have most answers, a few weeks back, I contacted you and several others I learned from listening to your videos, yet nobody seemed to have the one answer I was seeking. I inquired about obtaining a California state license for IA, but all I got was runaround or no replies. Then I figured it may be that what little there is available, you guys probably won’t benefit from, so didn’t bother to reply. I’m sorry if you think otherwise, but I couldn’t continue listening to your videos without a sales pitch being thrown. That’s not what I seek, specially as a woman in sales myself, I know when someone is being genuinely open with no hidden agenda. Luckily I found a great person who was willing to spend the time to just guide me, and provide the correct information since I am green about the whole IA industry. Keep this in mind, maybe you wanna consider taking someone under your wing without a hefty fee involved. Thank you!
@Cali Girl I guess we'll have to just agree to disagree on the "hidden agenda" part of your comments. I have hundreds of hours of free content here and I'm fully available via email to answer questions best I can. And I don't charge for that information.
That being said, I also do AdjusterTV full time now and I do have to earn a living so I've worked to develop training that I believe will not only help individual IAs, but also our industry in general.
I'm glad that you found somebody who can help you on a more personal level. CA is different than most other states license-wise and I answered your email best I could.
I do appreciate your thoughts and comments. Thank you for that.
@@notyours405 Just some friendly advise and sort of off topic, California isn't a very good start to get into IA. You want to hold a license that is recognized by most states preferably a TX or FL license. Also, you want to go where the storms are at as well as network, but you can still be successful if you don't know many people in the field.

Thank you so much for your advice. I will take it into account, for now, my life just shifted in other directions so will put this in the back burner for now! 😉
Wow where’s the beard who is this talking lol I’m so confused
