Got my license, got hired, now I am learning in the fire of the claims to be an adjuster. So far I am absolutely loving it.
Where’d you get hired? How’s it going now?
@quierafreer2416 A company with a certain spokes woman, she rhyms with bro. Awesome I actually have a promotion coming soon. I have learned so much this year and have so much more to learn.
@@ynkybomberwhy so cryptic hahaha
Conrad is a great trainer and will forever be who taught me what a ESX file is so he gets thanks from me on a regular basis. He, as a trainer, took my Skype call while I was deployed, and took time out of his morning to help me get a claim closed when no one else had the time. Great to see Conrad on the show. I do hope to work with him again!
Wow! The story about him going to the interview for his brother almost brought me to tears.
I'm newly licensed and after listening to Conrad, he is the type of person I would love to learn from. Absolutely love what you did for your brother!
Thank you for keeping us updated/informed. I have learned so much from Adjuster TV!! You guys are awesome!
Thank you, adjuster tv so far has help me navigating the career change. The same things said here as far as investing in yourself was repeated numerous times in Crawford class. One class will guide you i the right direction.
Good to see this podcast. Geoffrey seems like a great person. I grew up in Slidell and moved out of state a couple years ago. I have to reach out to Crawford soon!
This podcast gives me so much hope about this career change. I'm just starting out and I was a little nervous about finding a position as a non experienced adjuster. I"m currently researching some information on how to present myself in an interview as a new adjuster. Thank You for this show.
You got this!
Do you have a (almost) 6th month update?
I would love to hear update as well, im new just for licensed myself
I see you follow YAH as well, shalam/shalom
Thank you!
Thanks
Great episode! Good people and great minds just flowing. I recently found this channel and enjoying the content. Working towards (adjuster license testing soon) changing from cleaning/restoration industry to adjusting. It seems like a natural evolution. Does having multiple years of experience as well as certifications, help in the world of adjusting? Maybe I should ask if it would be a benefit to me?
Big Conrad!!! Great man! I loved working with him!

Hey Geoff! You're a SuperStar!

Same.
Where did you get your training if isy ask? Thank you
Congratulations
Tried to answer your questions but she keeps deleting the link because she wants to collect when you to go through her training link. She left hers in the description. I only noticed because I kept leaving the link only to have it removed. As soon as I saw her description box it all came together. Good luck out there get as many states as possible

Yes I’m well experience in customer service but don’t have adjuster insurance experience
Customer service is probably the hardest part to learn to be good at. The rest is just book learning/experience.
I’m in my mid 40s and just been laid off. Any advise in how I can become an adjuster? I believe I have the right things to become a great adjuster according to this video. Im inspired and interested in learning more. Thank you for your time
Good information, so many adjusters under scoping for some reason anymore..
It's always been that way. Some adjusters get too scared to spend carrier money or they second guess what they're putting in their estimates, etc.
@@AdjusterTV What I would tell people as an OA and remember myself as an IA... Its not your money! If the photos support the damage, then include it! It reduces how long the claim is open and increases the fee schedule, its a win-win.
Just starting to try and get my license in michigan, cannot find any study links that would help with any of the questions on the online pretest questions, like anything about coverage type a,b,c. Where would you/someone suggest to which direction I should head?

This was a very informative interview. I have just attained my Florida claims adjuster license along with a SC license. This is new for me. I'm coming from 20 years of Supply Chain and time from the US Navy. I have been applying for different firms and became a member of NACA yesterday. I want to do my best at the job so I will be watching your other videos also. How would I go about getting hired?
If you're a veteran and have your GI Bill still, I HIGHLY recommend Veteran Adjusting School. It is by far the best School for Adjusting, and you will be working directly after graduating
That's the down side. You don't ever get hired. You only get deployed during a catastrophe from 3 weeks to 3 months at a time. On the bright side you don't work year round.
How has it turned out for you 7 months later?
As a diy adjuster, is there any online ccurses you would recommend for auto 101 or property 101.

How do you get continue education with Crawford. I just got my license and on the roster. However, I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm a little leery about purchasing just any training course.

I ran into this video. Im not sure how.
I'm hoping that there will be an adjuster out there that is doing this work and wouldn't mind answering my questions. I am 47. No experience at all in this. Limited funds to start. I live near Fort Worth, and am willing to devote whatever time is necessary as long as I will be able to provide for my wife and daughter. Is this something that you think I can do?
Hi did you get started with this?
@losttime5585 I didn't. I had to take a job. Actually 2 jobs...
Are you an adjuster?
@@oats-n-goats I have my license and have yet to use it. I’m going to try to get a job with it. I live in Arlington btw.
Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but what are the chances of getting hired for a 60-year-old with 20+ years of flooring-remodeling experience? Additionally, I wouldn't be able to jump on roofs easily (past shoulder surgery causes some problems with ladders etc)
Your age has far less to do with getting you working than an injury that keeps you off roofs.
That's what I am afraid of. I wonder if companies have enough interior claims to justify hiring someone who wouldn't be able to climb roofs?
Sir, I am an Adjuster from India and would love to participate on any opportunities with you
